Valve Software: Do Not Remove HuniePop and Other Sexual Content Games from Steam

Please take a moment to sign this petition! Steam has started trying to censor  (mostly indie) games with “p*rnographic content”, some of which are only showing female breasts, such as the popular yuri game Kindred Spirits. This change in policy is HEAVILY targeting indie games, while turning a blind eye to AAA games with the SAME CONTENT that the indie games are being attacked for. For example, the Kindred Spirits devs were sent a 2 week removal censorship warning for showing breasts, but the Witcher 3 devs have received no such warning. PLEASE prevent indie devs from being censored like this!!!!!!

Valve will be removing a game that does not actually violate their guidelines on pornographic content… for violating their guidelines on pornographic content.

This is despite the fact that Mutiny!! does not actually contain any sexually explicit content of any kind. Sexually suggestive content is included, yes, but this does not actually go against Valve’s terms of service

Lupiesoft is Looking For an Artist

Studio Lupiesoft is an LGBT friendly studio that started in mid 2013 following our Kickstarter for Dizzy Hearts, since then we have grown tremendously, released multiple games, and even gone to hire voice actors for our titles! After a rocky start are finally nearing the end of Dizzy Hearts development. Because of this growth, and to accomplish our goals for future projects, we need to bring on a new artist to help on our projects.

So, Lupiesoft is looking for an artist to join our team, capable in both concept art and character art, who also has experience working in and releasing games!We are not looking for exclusivity, but a contractor where payment is based on rate per asset required.

Lupiesoft is also a Crunch-Free development studio, in order to eliminate crunch, we depend on our fellow team members to be reliable, and work towards a well-paced deadline.

Requirements

Experience in working on games or projects showing your proficiency in working towards a deadline

There is no exclusivity, but we like to create a strong bond on our team that is both financially and emotionally beneficial for everyone.

Specializes in character art as well as character concept designs

You aren’t expected to have deep knowledge about Lupiesoft, or share interest in everything we do, but having played our games and shown similar interests in what Lupiesoft does is very important

Lupiesoft’s yuri visual novel Mutiny!! is now available on MangaGamer and Steam. To celebrate its launch, the game is currently on sale for 10% off until October 27th.

The Steam version does not contain any sexually explicit content. However, Lupiesoft released a free patch that restores adult content to the game on the MangaGamer website.

Lupiesoft also released the first batch of DLC routes for Mutiny!!, which give the player the option to pursue characters Elizabeth Margaret and Grozdana Kakra during gameplay. More routes are planned to be added during November 2017.

Synopsis:

Everything begins with you sat at a table, adjusting your clothes and blowing a kiss to the cute little Fairy you’d spent the afternoon with. The ‘Captain’ comes in; a haggard and tired figure. Still, they might make for some interesting company, seeing as how captains have ships, money, and go on exciting adventures. It becomes readily apparent that she’s on her last legs, announcing that the Pirate life is hard, and her luck is drained to the final dregs. The Navy is on her tail, and her ship is being scuttled with debt. Of course, you’re happy to offer a little ‘Stress Relief’, but she confesses she hasn’t a penny to her name. Hell— she probably couldn’t find gold in a chest. You sigh and shrug; you’ve always been particularly lucky. The Captain seems awfully enticed at the whole prospect of some life-changing luck. The little conversation is brought to a screeching halt by the sound of Navy boots stomping their way through the building next door. Not an issue to you of course, but the ‘Captain’ seems to be missing some facial coloration all of a sudden. Then with a snap of her fingers, she’s up and out of her seat with a brand new purpose, tossing her hat onto your head. “Must be fate!” she announces pleasantly, and while you’re still trying to figure out what’s going on, her jacket is thrown over your shoulders. There’s a scampering, a yelping of alarm from one of the patrons, and then silence. Once you’ve got the hat off from over your eyes, the ‘Captain’ is nowhere to be seen. Skipping past the Navy isn’t an issue for you, and the real culprit is long gone. Nothing for it but to find this woman’s ship and get things sorted out. …Or at least give back the hat and jacket… despite how totally cool they are. Once you get there, you find a mismatched crew of helplessly inept girls who weren’t even a hundred percent sure they were pirates the whole time. The crew announce that it’s unlikely the ‘ex-captain’ is coming back. She gave over the hat and jacket after all! That’s all it takes; its proof! You scoff at the ridiculousness of it all, intending to drop the hat onto one of the girl’s heads. She gasps and scrambles away, begging you not to put that evil on her. It takes you a while to come to terms with it all, but it seems you’re in charge now! First step, re-name the ship. Second step? Find a way out of debt. Third step? …We’ll figure it out somehow.
