Mutton has always been a part of Sunday Lunch, isn't it? Atleast for us it always has been. There are so many varieties of Mutton preparation, starting from Kashmiri Rogan Josh to Manglorean Mutton Ghee Roast. But I will bet none of the cuisine can match the deliciousness of Mutton Gravy with Bengali & Odia style Mutton Gravy/Curry. Both are almost similar but have their own distinct flavor. Let's go with Odia Mutton Curry. In this dish, less spices are used so that it doesn't overpower the taste of mutton. But that doesn't mean it isn't spicy. Oh God!! Definitely you will get all the flavors of indian spices😁. Slow cooked mutton, without pressure cooker typically in a kadhai or Mud Pot & with variety of spices gives it a distinct flavor. The slow cooking ensures the mutton pieces absorbs most of the flavors from the gravy. And those potatoes, those succulent potatoes in the gravy along with the pieces of mutton fat just makes the dish perfect. How can someone say no to a plate of hot Odia Mutton Curry?? One of my favorite dish. It's a test of patience that's for sure. But the result is finger licking & mouthwatering 😋😋 #mutton #muttongravy #muttonjhola #odisha #odia #odiafood #odiafoodies #odishacuisine #odishagram #foodblogging #foodblogger #odishafoodbloggers #foodgasm #foodstagram #quarantinelife #quarantineandchill #quarantinestories #tgif #quarantinekitchen #quarantine #fridaydinner #weekendvibes #foodphotography #foodonplate #foodphotooftheday #plating #kitchensofinstagram #fooddiaries #kitchendiaries #bangalorediaries (at My Kitchen) https://www.instagram.com/p/CAycBxuFW5Q/?igshid=m8q23fqqma25
