Katsuki is definitely a cat person, let's just establish that
But he's also never going to admit that
He has a reputation to maintain, yk?
A reputation that doesn't let him like cats apparently
When he meets your cat, he pretends that it's annoying him
He couldn't be bothered to pet them or even pay attention to them
Now this goes one of two ways lmao
Your cat immediately calls him out on his bullshit and is all over him, rubbing against his leg, climbing into his lap, batting at his hair
Hitting him with those big kitty eyes
Katsuki wants to pretend that it's annoying him and he'll claim that it is
But he isn't making even the slightest attempt to push them off
The second you leave the room he's giving that cat the most affectionate head scritches imaginable and telling them that they're the best kitty
Your cat is just as grumpy as he is, and returns that silent treatment
He would be so offended dude lmao
Like,,, why doesn't the kitty wanna play with him-
Katsuki tries to convince the cat to like him in the most subtle ways he can manage
Feeding them treats when you're not looking, offering to give the ear rubs, making the quietest "pspspspsps" at them
He gets even grumpier when your cat continues to ignore him
"stupid dumbass cat won't lay by me... noT THAT I FUCKING CARE OR ANYTHING-"
Then one night Katsuki spends the night with you, just to be woken up around 5 or 6 am by your cat, finally deciding that they like him and coming to stand on his chest, pawing at his face for attention
He desperately wants to be annoyed that they woke him up but he just can't be
Sweet lil kitty wants to lay with him finally :')
Katsuki gives them all the pets and kisses they want for the next few minutes before your cat curls up on his chest and they both fall back to sleep
