tomcat,,,,imagine if u were just born one day out of the ground and you're forced into keeping up the identity of a stranger, in which you inherit all of his enemies and loved ones who want YOU to be him so badly. and now you have to fight his war + be nice to his wife, who you DO love but you don't know if she'd love you as the person you are now. but you also fall in love with the guy who wanted to commit murder-suicide with you by nuke. <- oversimplification.

I can imagine it so clearly because there's a song that reminds me a lot of this kind of thing. And it's Dead Body Moving by The Devil Makes Three

One song option is definetly "Power Drunk" by That Handsome Devil (blatant THD plug i know but ☝️ good song). This guy is just coping with things weird by power tripping and having a grand old time being the specialest guy around. Also tbe second line of the song is "through Jack and Coke" which was a funny pun to me

And mayhaps "The Man" by The Killers because he has this kinda cockiness to it. It's technically more of a Jack song but Elias wants to be him so bad he's co-opting it for fun and enrichment (<- wants to be much bigger than he is)
