Which ocs from mutals would your ocs be friends with?

It's so tempting to say all of them because people's OCs are all just so lovely... But here are a few that I feel like I "know" that I can see either Ada or Inès be friends with. Let me know if you think your OC would get along with these two by the way, I love so many of the OCs in this fandom but also didn't want to list all of them even though I wanted too...

Ada

Ami – @hopeshoodie

I don't know why, but I can just see these two getting along so well. Maybe it's the angst?

Venus – @nerdferatum

A friendship that's basically meant to be, with both of them having a love for flowers and all things green.

Winona – @starsarestars

A whole vibe, and I love that for them. Ada could for sure need someone like Winona in her life.

Thea – @chroniccomicobsession

One of the only other OCs that probably was around at the same time as Ada, so they realisticially could've met. Thea's also a badass, and Ada respects that.

Inès

Peggy – @follies-fixture

We've agreed this is canon. They'd be good friends in real life (and probably hooked up at one point).

Chloe – @mrsgaryrennell

Our French girls would for sure be friends and go out to have a glass or three of red wine together.

Sky – @voile-de-lune

Similarly, Sky and Inès would be such a powerful friendship duo. They'd for sure go on couple's holidays together with Lucas and Noah.

An icon and a queen, and how could Inès not be friends with Rahim's partner? She's just genuinely so cool and I love to imagine them as friends.

Spotlight Saturday

I got tagged in Spotlight Saturday by @midnightprelude (thank you!!) and so I’ll share a few of the works that I’ve been genuinely enjoying these past few days. Anyone who sees this, feel free to share what you’ve been reading in the fandom and tag me so I can read it too! 

Longfics:

Underneath the Bough by @midnightprelude & @oftachancer. This one is a Victorian AU where Halward Pavus wins, and Dorian takes the life that he’s never wanted. However, everything could change when a mysterious healer named Andersson shows promise in healing Dorian’s sick son. Heartbreaking, beautifully introspective.

The Depth of Fear by @nug-juggler (Viscariafields on AO3). A fic that features Bethistair and Fenhawke, and what happens when Alistair is left in the Fade. I really love the idea of Hawke and Alistair being linked in this way, and Bethistair has become dear to my heart mainly due to how well @nug-juggler writes them. The interactions between Hawke and Beth are some of my favourite too. After some beautiful exploration of the interactions between the characters, the fic is starting to pick up plot-wise, and I’m so excited to see where it goes. 

beloved by @cedarmoons. Several months after Crestwood, Ariala Lavellan finds out that her family has been slaughtered outside of Wycome. She must go bury them, and Solas accompanies her. The praise that this fic has gotten on AO3 is truly warranted - I absolutely tore through this in a matter of hours on Thursday. This one’s ridden with not just angst but genuine examinations of grief, mourning, and how we move on. It’s also the love story I wish Solavellan had been (in a ‘this is a dream and I’m sad it’s not true when I wake up’ sort of way). This fic had me forgetting who I was while I was reading it and ngl I ugly cried in Chapter 3. Beautifully emotional and compelling.

Oneshots & Prompt fills:

Candles for Dorian by @midnightprelude. The Inquisitor is dead, and Dorian lights candles by hand to show his devotion. I really loved this.

Shipwrecked by @nug-juggler​. Shipwreck AU for Bethistair where Templar!Alistair is transporting Circle Mage!Beth to Kinloch Hold by sea, but they wind up shipwrecked, and it’s also all I want in this world.

Sherry and Then Port by @luzial. Cass is going to need to collect some intelligence at Halamshiral on Leliana’s behalf, and this requires a bit of training in the Art of Verbal Subterfuge, something our favourite Seeker is decidedly not good at. Fun Leliana & Cassandra banter.

A/N: It’s finally here! The second part to I Need More that everyone wanted! It got pretty long without smut, so no smut. Hope it lives up to the hype! Special thanks to @manawhaat and @littlegreenplasticsoldier for their always fabulous beta services. I wish I had time to let them look over this one more time.

Summary: Reader runs away for a while, then has to face her fears.

Word count: 4652 (Over twice as long as the first part, which just goes to prove that fixing shit is harder than screwing it up in the first place!)

For the fourth night in a row, you sat on the beach with a bottle in your hand and watched the sun set. It had taken you a couple of days to get here, but you were about as far away from Lebanon, Kansas as you could get and still be in the continental US. Maybe Maine would be further than Washington, but you’d turned left out of the motel parking lot, not right, so Washington is where you ended up. The weather had turned the day before, and it was chillier tonight, with a light misty rain making you feel even colder. The storm front was almost past, though, which was how you got to see the sun fall from behind the clouds before it sank into the ocean.

Six days. Six days since you’d given in to Dean Winchester’s charms and then woken up alone. Six days since you’d turned off the GPS and sound on your phone so no one could track you and you wouldn’t have to listen to the beeps and trills when they called or messaged. Five days since you’d considered turning it off completely, but knew that would send a message all its own and just prompt whoever was calling to really look for you. Four days since you’d found the rundown motel a block from the beach and plunked down enough cash to quiet the manager about the credit card that didn’t match the name you gave him. Three days since you’d slept for twelve hours, only to wake up from a dream that Dean was knocking on your door. Three days since you told housekeeping to fuck off and not knock on your door again. The days since then had settled into a nice routine: Wake up, shower, get dressed, try to eat, buy a newspaper you wouldn’t really read (unless you counted Marmaduke and Garfield), buy booze, try to eat some more, then settle on the beach to watch the sun go down and drink the bottle dry.
