I think the problem with trying to guess where the plot is going to go in general is that fb has terrible writing so all of our good theories are better than the actual game😂
lol after I wrote up a whole ass post on my theories for who the masked man is, it dawned on me that story might not even be a plot point, just some throw away bit Fusebox put in there 🤣
And I agree, fb has shown they value quantity over quality, pumping out season after season lacking both branching and good writing. However, this season I actually feel the writing is better and I’ve been told there’s branching with some of the LIs like Lucia and Kai. Okay it’s like minimum effort but it’s still an improvement 🙃
The fandom has always been better at coming up with theories, that’s how we get all the amazing fanfics 😍 And really I just love guessing even if I’m wrong 😆
I’ve seen people saw that the masked boy is either Trent or a casa boy and I was wondering your thoughts!! Personally for me I see flaw in both theories but with that being said I do lean more towards it being Trent. It makes sense that he wasn’t there for the secret and came right after it. Plus he seems to be the “main” li of the season. My issue with that theory is, wouldn’t MC have recognized his voice? Or how could a famous actor be on a cruise without word spreading on board? I mean unless we’re assuming this was before Trent was a breakout actor.
As for it being a casa boy, I don’t see fb doing two men from MC’s past in the same season. I could be wrong but I feel like even for them that’s a bit much lol. What’s with them and having a twist being that MC knows someone? Yawn. They do a lot of crazy stuff though so maybe they will. It could be true then that’ll be the only casa boy we’re allowed to romance like they’ve been doing for previous seasons…. I don’t really know lol

To be totally honest, when I first read the update, it didn’t even occur to me that it might be Trent until my girl @libelle949 commented on it. What I actually thought was this is SO gonna be a Casa boy 😆 My take on both is under the cut 😘:
Trent- obviously he’s been written to have chemistry with MC, even if you don’t indulge him. The other islanders comment on it, the public voted for Trent and MC to couple, and now they’ve matched on the couples quiz. (Also, didn’t we do a compatibility quiz in the first volume and he matched with Amari? 🙃) So I could see MC and Trent discovering they’ve already hooked up as masked strangers and that’s why they are so drawn to one another. My problem is that MC’s already got a connection to Trent through work and she thought he was rude. Was he so different that she didn’t even get the slightest clue that they had a previous entanglement? I find that hard to believe, but it’s not impossible. I also think it’s super extra for MC and Trent to know each other for more than one reason. But Fusebox is extra extra these days, so I wouldn’t put it past them 🤷🏻♀️
Casa Boy- okay fb writing islanders that know MC is their favorite schtick right now. Last season we had not one, not two, but three islanders who were connected to MC: bestie, Owen and unfortunately Blake. So I could definitely see one of the Casa boys knowing MC. Again 🫠 And in s13, the OG boy MC gets dumped from the villa shows up to Casa IN A MASK. Ofc we all knew it was Eren/Nico, but maybe they are trying to revamp this but reverse; MC actually met him in a mask but now she’ll see his face and not know it’s him. Or she’ll be like, you seem familiar 🤔 Then fb will try to reveal it in some “dramatic” way 😱 lol okay that’s a stretch but that’s where my brain went 🤪 I had another anon tell me there were leaks about branching for multiple LIs in Casa, but I wouldn’t put it past fb to funnel us to one Casa boy, aka mask man.
I could totally see both of these scenarios. I’m leaning towards Casa boy because it was my first instinct and I don’t need another reason for Trent and MC to be connected. But I’ve been wrong about these things before. lol watch, that whole story has nothing to do with the plot, like Zeph from s6 when we kept expecting him to show up. I mean I guess he did just three seasons later 💀 And then again on Big Brother. Omg what if it’s Zeph 😂🪦
Well it took Trent three full episodes to confess, and Amari didn’t flip out 😆 But he goes from zero to a million, like fb calm down! This volume was messy and packed, honestly it was too much. And apparently Rui has an “ex” even though he’s never been in a relationship 🙃 The rest of the mess is below 😘
Iris spent the night outside and everyone’s being weird 🫤 Text reveals Rui and Myra are at the sleepover villa with bombshells 💣
Amari makes breakfast but Iris takes Kai for a chat and the boys make a hasty exit. You can pay for the tea- Iris left a note for Trent under his pillow but he thought it was for Noah so he put it under Noah’s pillow lol 😆 Noah got excited but found Iris chatting to Obi and caused a scene. Trent tried to calm it, Amari tried to call Iris out and Noah told Iris to sleep outside 🤣
Oh and Rui tried to make breakfast for MC before he left 🍳
Couples Quiz- I think it’s rigged, but MC and Kai matched on a few, and MC and Trent match on all except one. Not sure if it matters but before the quiz, one of the girls asks if you’re more into your old partner or Kai, but I said I’m leaving my options open 👀
You can pay to see Myra and Rui’s results. I don’t know why Noah and Iris get to tag along 😒 Myra is most compatible with Billie, so I guess she’s bringing him back if the leaked names are correct. Rui had all the same answers except one, same as Trent 🤭
MC bumps into Trent in the kitchen and he almost confesses. Well he tries but Kai interrupts and wants a chat. Kai spills that Iris told him she’s not into Noah just using him. Duh 🙄 Now it’s Amari’s turn to interrupt 😂
MC wanders into the bedroom and finds Iris in bed with Trent flirting. I mean Iris was flirting, but how does he keep getting himself into these situations 💀
Lucia checks in with MC about missing Rui. Amari likes Kai now and asks if she can give it a go. And Iris is annoying 😪
Dinner dates- the boys are cooking, the public voted for line up. Noah is the starter and he’s just sad boy. Trent is main and he cooks shepherds pie with his nan’s recipe 🥧 And Kai makes Hawaiian dessert which I was pumped he made butter mochi, but the way they described it was weird 😕🧈
Now this is interesting- you can pay to go to the hot tub with Kai to extend the date. You ask each other sexy questions and can have a smooch. But I splashed him instead 💦
MC gets called to the beach hut to see Rui on his dates. He’s with Milly from s13?! You can pay 29 gems to watch it 🤑 Basically Rui just talks about MC, Milly says she quit her job and is trying to be more like MC from her season, who’s married to her LI btw. Rui is into MC but worried about Trent’s crush. Myra made out with two bombshells. Then Rui says something about a girl he thought could be the one and then she magically shows up, end scene 😑
You can tell the other islanders about the video. I’m actually starting to feel a bit bad for Noah but he’s still a jackass 🫏

Somewhere in the last episode you find out Trent broke things off with Amari and Iris did the same with Noah. I can’t remember when exactly but everyone’s broken up 🤣
You run into Iris and she says she was looking for you. She almost apologizes and hands MC a note from Trent to meet him in the treehouse 🏡
Trent finally confesses! He says stuff blah blah blah and you can say you like him and he asks for a kiss, I think but you can turn him down. I did not 🤭
Oh wait he tells MC he was waiting for her during spin the bottle but Iris stole the note from MC’s makeup bag! Ohhhh Iris said something earlier about stealing something important and I just realized that’s what she was talking about. Omg literally so much going on 😭
You can pay 29 gems to have more time with him. You can cuddle up, he asks MC about preferences in the bedroom, you can make out and then go all the way??!! For a boy that can’t make up his mind that seems too fast. So I only did bits 🤣

Tho they could only find the sprites of Odessa and Alexis (who looks like a rehased Giovanna lol) so far.
CA Lis should be Xander, Ali and Carlo. Idk if anyone else from these will be a LI.

If Obi actually confessed he’s into Myra and not Lucia, I don’t know if it would cause chaos, but at least it would acknowledge that moment they had in the secret garden. lol this season is so messy I live 🙌
And I think I kicked myself in the foot because now I like him more than before. 💀
I tried "fixing" whatever they did with the angle of his face and to make him look a bit more his age. Since he doesn't look 29 in the game at all, I gave him a few aging and smile lines, because I'm not really sure FB does them for whatever reason or at least not that detailed if they're not from BB.
Even if Kai may have some amazing genetics (he prob does), he looks like the type to be very expressive, so it's normal for him to have some lines. Hell, Trent and Noah would have them too. 🤷🏻♀️
But I did change very small things. I used a model as reference that I thought may have looked a little more like him, so I gave him a different nose and without realizing I tanned him more than necessary (that's probably how he'd realistically look by the end of the season anyway lol). I don't color pick the colors from the pictures, I tried to guess.
But yeah... I think I made myself fall in love with this man 🫠 he was supposed to be my placeholder until casa and shield from Rui. I'm going to have a hard time in the future unless they ruin him too.
I saw a lot of people saying they’re annoyed with Trent an this week’s episodes with the whole “friendzoning” thing. But to be honest I kinda like that he’s an imperfect li. Fb always does that thing where (especially og) lis will be obsessed with mc right away. And yeah I get that’s the point of the game and all but Trent being open to getting to know other people is much more realistic. I appreciate it. Like to me it’s much more satisfying if he gets to know Amari and knows for sure that they don’t match. Is it annoying that he’s giving mixed signals? Yeah a bit obviously but I think part of that is just bad writing on fb’s part. And I think it’s important to remember that it’s literally only day 4. Nobody’s married off yet, people are keeping their options open. Now I think fb is gonna do a friends to lovers type thing with Trent and that’s cool with me.

Bottom line, I’m not too upset about anything Trent does at this point in the game. We’ve already got one LI obsessed with us and a bombshell that just stole us. I can appreciate that Trent is giving it a go with Amari, even flirting with Iris (let those girls have beef for a bit 😆). And he’s still having these moments with MC where you can flirt with him or not, which I also appreciate. We know Fusebox, we know what to expect. They’ve set up Trent to be the slow burn, so let’s all just calm down and have some fun with the other boys in the meantime 💅
okay so… i was between Rui and Trent, and honestly i think i was more into Rui… THEN BOOM THIS CHAPTER MESSED EVERYTHING !!! i honestly feel bad for Kai because he chose MC, he seems genuinely a good guy but i can’t hide that i’m also a little upset about it :(
but mostly important… Trent is friend zoning MC 😿😿 he said that he hoped we could still be friends and, despite being more into Rui, i asked him “just friends?” I COULDN’T HELP MYSELF LOL 🫣 now i really am confused between the two, and Kai situation won’t help either…… please tell me i’m not alone in this 🙏🏼

I have this head canon for him that maybe he was shy or awkward growing up. But then he focused on acting, not dating or social skills, so now that he’s got all this attention he doesn’t know how to handle it. And maybe he’s scared to tell MC outright that he likes her, because she’s got options, but so does he. So he just goes along with whatever comes. Not great, but I can make excuses for it. It’s also kinda refreshing to have a potential LI exploring with other partners. It’s at least a change from the love-bombing-on-day-two LI 💀 We’ll see how long I can tolerate it 😂

Lol we're on same playthrough on being torn between Rui and Trent. Tbh I think I'd rather date a CEO than an actor and Trent seems more fun to bully than to romance so far but fb's gonna give us till the finale coupling to make up our minds between them whether we like it or not. Also I could dump them both for a hottie in CA, the sprites haven't been leaked but from what I heard the leaked branching of the seasons' routes says we should have 3 male LIs in CA again thankfully.
