The Sniper was used to October bringing strange things, what from the Wizard that happened to be Soldier's previous roommate dropping by and bringing chaos, to pushing the reanimated bones of his dead boss across the Payload tracks, so it really shouldn't have come as a surprise to be afflicted with something.
Unfortunately, it did. He hadn't even realized anything was wrong until he'd tried to catch his reflection in the mirror only to find none. Nothing greeted him when faced with the object. His stomach fell as he brought a hand up to his mouth, opening it slowly and reaching forward to poke at strangely sharp teeth. No, no this wasn't right.
He'd opened the door to his camper van only to stumble back as the desert sun beat down, the rays feeling god awful upon his skin, though no visible damage occurred.
So he was stuck in the van until nightfall then? He could deal with that. He'd done it before. Honestly no challenge at al- his stomach gave a groan of protest, a hunger for something he couldn't take care of on his own making itself known.
He grasped his middle with a grunt, laying on his small bed, wanting to sleep it off until a knock sounded at his door.

As much as he wanted to stay in his camper van, the need to get out was growing too great for his seventeen year old mentality. He'd waited until the sun had gone down, well aware the rest of the team would be busy with something else. It'd give him time to stretch his legs, maybe climb up onto the roof and watch the stars like he'd used to when he had really been this young.
Peering out the now open camper door located at the very back of the van, he took a step down, booted feet digging into the sandy landscape as a deep breathe emerged.
This was better. He almost wished he had his dog here to play with, wondering just how far he could toss a stick for the canine to chase after before he would bring it back to repeat the process.
The sound of footsteps however, drew him out of his reminiscing, and the teenager looked around, pushing the tinted aviators up the bridge of his nose where they'd taken to falling. He backed up, hand on the handle of the camper door, ready to bolt back inside depending on just who happened to appear.
