Lucky Charm Theory.
I shared this theory in the SIG server, and I think it hold some serious ground, might even help with who might die
MASSIVE JCC SPOILERS AHEAD!!
Almost all characters in Jackpot Crash Course are based off of Lucky Charms, or symbols of luck. We know this, and even a few characters tell us this.
In case you don't know, here's a list of what most character represents
Elise- Rabbit Foot
Bones- Wishbones
Vick- No LUCKY charm, he has the number 13.
Sailor- Albatross
Rook- Horseshoe
Sandbag- NO LUCKY CHARM
Maneki- The Maneki Neko (Lucky Cat)
Cecilia- Blue Jay
Poppy- Ladybug
Cobyn- Four Leafed Clover
Vega- Shooting Stars
Benny- NO LUCKY CHARM
Eddie- NO LUCKY CHARM..? (More on this later)
As we know- unless Eddie himself dies- Sandbag is a guaranteed death in all routes. I think there is a reason for this, or at least, something foreshadowing unavoidable deaths like Sandbag.
I am under the belief that the characters WITHOUT Lucky symbolism, are GUARANTEED DEATHS.
Let me explain.
Obviously as I stated earlier, there will most likely be unavoidable deaths every chapter, like Sandbag. Isn't it bizarre that one of our only "unlucky" characters was GUARANTEED to die?
I think the characters without this lucky symbolism are JCC's guaranteed death's. So Benny, Vick, Sandbag, and maybe even Eddie.
Meanwhile the fate of the actual LUCKY characters, is up to the LUCK of the player's choices.
Whether Sailor or Vega dies was completely up to the choice of the player, a series of events leading to the route of one of them living and the other dying. So I think it's a safe gamble to say that the fate of ALL CHARACTERS WITH LUCK SYMBOLISM ARE UP TO THE CHOICES YOU MAKE.
Speaking of gambling, I think I know what Eddie is based off of. Although on the nose, I think it's 8Balls. Not only does he match the color scheme, have one on his belt, and talk about playing pool, but the MEANING behind 8Balls sync up with his character, and the entirety of JCC
8Balls are known to represent Good luck, Bad luck, and Risks.
The literal first game you play as Eddie is even pointed out by HIM HIMSELF to be a game of luck. And it depends on that good or bad luck you have during the game that'll decide your fate.
Not to mention, what is gambling if not taking risks?
