How I think the JCC characters would act in a British secondary school because it's funny to imagine American based mfs in the UK
Benny: absolutely the type to skip lessons and hand in homework that he finished DURING THE LESSON IT'S DUE. Revises for tests 15 minutes before it in a panic. Always the first to leave the lesson the moment the bell rings and runs to the lunch hall, probably dragging Eddie with him. Just chats and does jackshit during lesson. Absolutely the type to go, "but miss, it's the week before half term! Can't we just watch a movie, miss?!" And complains about every teacher. Bottom set in sciences and maths, middle in English. WAY too competitive during PE. Never wears the right uniform.
Bones: barely shows up to lessons, it's a miracle if he does. He just pays Eddie to do his homework and hands it in. When they're skipping, they're almost definitely hanging out with Elise and other bad students in the bathroom. Sneaks cigarettes and alcohol in to smoke and drink in the bathrooms. Doesn't revise but somehow gets decent marks. Probably known as a player. Probably just sits at the back of the classroom with headphones on and does nothing except mess around. They're weirdly chill though??? Like surprisingly nice sometimes and probably part of the DEI and art club. A very smooth liar when it comes to cheating in tests. Part of the group that people HATE. Middle set in everything, but really good at art. Skips PE. Never wears the right uniform. Runs a school slander acc with Elise.
Cecilia: teacher's favorite, but not pet. Very polite to the teachers, and a decently hard worker. Nice to everyone, but for some reason no one likes her much (except Rook). She's kinda popular, but she's nice. Able to charm and gaslight the teachers into extending deadlines for her and getting out of sanctions. Somewhat of a hard worker, but mostly doesn't do much and is able to pass by getting biases from teachers. I think she'd be in top set for everything except maths, that she'd be middle. Friends with Rook, but not really FRIENDS friends with anyone else. Just chats during PE. Sometimes wears the uniform, but gets away with it when she doesn't. We don't really get many interactions with her so I can't say much else :p
Cobyn: loved by everyone for being so sweet and he'd be the type to bring in baked goods on before break days. Absolutely fucking demolishes people during PE though and apologizes like "oh I'm so sorry! Did the ball hit you too hard?". I think that's the only time people would be scared of him lolll. Actually pretty hard working, maybe hands in hw late sometimes. Teachers favorite. Hangs out with Vega, Poppy and sometimes Eddie. Probably bottom set in everything except bio. Wears the right uniform.
Elise: teacher's NIGHTMARE. This mf is throwing things across the classroom, chatting, doesn't do shit. They attend lessons only to make the teacher's life hell. He doesn't do homework ever and the staff is too scared to tell him off. Chews gum obnoxiously and tosses it on the ground so people step in it, vandalises walls and desks with dick drawings, breaks shit. You lend it pencil? You're not getting that thing back. Pranks the teachers in actually deranged ways and Bones helps. "Hey guys, the teacher is 15 minutes late, we can legally leave!! Or illegally if you plant a bomb!" "Miss, you can't give me a detention!- no, THIS IS DISCRIMINATION, I'M LITERALLY A QUEER MINOR-". Breaks all the rules during PE and is everyone's least favorite to pair up with. Never wears the uniform right. Defo getting expelled soon, but from what I know their parents are rich sooooo.... Also I don't know how to explain this, but chav gossiper.
Maneki: chill quiet kinda guy, liked by everyone. Top set in everything and helps people with hw, but makes sure they don't get walked over. Revises for exams and gets very good marks, hands hw in on time. I think they do get into a little bit of mischief with Elise tho, js some small stuff like hiding supplies from teachers. Teachers like them. Tends to not really attend during PE, or just hangs out at the back. People like them. Wears the correct uniform.
Eddie: new kid energy, but he's been there for years. Very much picked on in the sense that people just kinda constantly mess with him, and see how much they can mess with him until he snaps and people can giggle at him (average ND kid experience). Was doing HW for people for free until Benny suggested he make people pay for it and now it's like "maths, huh? £10.". Attends classes regularly, but I imagine he tends to zone out a little unless it's something he's interested in. Top set maths obvi, but probably middle set for the rest. I think he'd be good at some sports in PE, similar to Cobyn, but not enjoy the running ones (me core). Wears the right uniform.
Poppy: barely comes in, like literally she's there for a week and then leaves for the rest of the term. 60% attendance on them. Bottom set for everything because of this. Skips PE in the nurses office. Kind of invisible to the rest of the year. Kinda wears the right uniform, but very messily.
Rook: Loser girl trying her best. Defo the kid that all of the popular kids try to bully, but...... it's just kinda sad to watch, so they tend to just leave her alone. Perfect attendance, high achiever, straight hair straight 9s straightforward-. Top set for everything. Also part of the DEI club and is very willing to defend her friends. Anytime someone is about to break some rule she's like "w-wait, isn't that not allowed?!" and everyone tells her to stfu. Revises religously, like literally stacks of paper and resources several months before any exams. Way too competetive in PE and plans large elaborate plans. Wears the correct uniform, all crisp and clean and perfectly ironed.
Sailor: That one year 7 that keeps trying to befriend the older years-core. Works hard in every lesson, but defo got some undiagnosed ADHD so he struggles and is probably in bottom set for everything. A "pleasure in lesson, but he really needs to apply himself!". Everytime he talks to an older year, all happy and loud, the people are just snickering to themselves and he is oblivious -w-''. Probably similar to Rook in the sense that he is very competetive and tries to make big plans in sports, that...... fail. Just a spunky kid, way too energetic, about to get that all crushed in GCSEs. Tries to wear the right uniform, but keeps it getting it wrong. Poor thing.
Sandbag: At sister's (nurse) a lot because of constantly getting into fights, constantly getting detentions, on the verge of being expelled. Bottom set, foundation taker simply because of how many fights he's getting into and how many lessons he's missing out from getting into said fights. Tries to threaten bullies into being nicer, but they just laugh at him and, that gets him angrier and he ends up getting into said fights. Always ends up raging in PE, yelling that the scores weren't fair or someone cheated. Uniform is all wrong.
Vega: Everyone HATES her and only a few people tolerate her. Is convinced everyone is talking about her badly, but they don't actual gaf that much. Anytime there's the SLIGHTEST bit of gossip, he's asking everyone about it and literally watches the people involved to get more info and is a self proclaimed 'investigator'. Answer and hw gatekeeper. Top set in STEM, and middle for English, but every lesson they ask stupidly long questions and tries to be all philosophical and shit like "well, miss, you say that Shakespeare did that to show a message, but how about-" cue that for the entire lesson. Terrified of canteen food bc of one bad incident 7 years ago. So, so, so bad at PE...... cue them being smacked in the face with a dodgeball by Bones. "Wait, sir, you forgot the homework!", Elise: "Shut UP, NERD EMOJI!-". Kinda right uniform? 🤓☝️
I have no idea of how Vick and Cupid fit into all this.......
