Hula dance dress styles really do tend to stagnate. I think that's stupid. It's time to dip back into a little bit of recent hawaiian dress history, and then perhaps we'll have the balls to get a little more creative, i mua, hele mua?

I would like to see some of the 3quarter or elbow length sleeves return to hula auana dresses.... maybe some of the raised waistlines..... 

and is there any way to modernize the bib without resorting to the horrible, unforgiving mandarin collar? bluh.
