Okay, that got a laugh from Mika and lightened the atmosphere. “If you don’t mind me being crass, I was admiring your assets.” Mika had seen her from the back first. Now that they were closer, Sae’s scars were pretty hard to miss. “I can’t say I do?” Not like some facial scars are a deterrent, considering how often horrific injuries occur in their profession. Sidling up to the actual bar, Mika placed a few notes down, waiting for the bartender.

“What’s your poison?” Mika had a single malt whiskey, they usually didn’t get cocktails when visiting unfamiliar bars.

Why Did I Follow Them?: I really enjoyed her portrayal of Danzo so I was thrilled to see her have other blogs so it was an automatic follow for those too (I started out reading the vines though and I must say I was impressed. I’m hooked on the vines series tbh.)

Do We Role Play?: Yes, of course.

Do I Want To Role Play With Them: Definitely. Always.

An AU Idea For Our Muses: AU where Itachi is the head of ROOT ANBU and Danzo is the young, impressionable boy (role reversal)

A Song For Our Muses: Becoming a Geisha: John Williams 

Do I Ship Our Muses?: (Danzo is obsessed with Itachi. It could happen with an older Itachi considering that Itachi does like being acknowledged and Danzo does acknowledge him.....I could write an essay on this..).

What I Think About The Mun: Skye is amazing--She is very fun to plot with (even though we seem to be missing each other when we’re online lately), and we can always come up with something fun to do (whether it be on Danzo, or Yuka (oh mygod the start of our thread between Yuka & Madara has all the politics and yesss)

Overall Opinion: Skye is an amazing writer and deserves all the love. Please follow her blogs and interact with her because our threads are always interesting (and I always. Always. Look forward to her replies.) And her themes are amazing too (I can actually read the text)

Why Did I Follow Them?: I think Lady was the first person I followed here and I really enjoyed her portrayal of Orochimaru. (who is one of my favorite characters). I didn’t know very many people and she was very welcoming (we did a few memes and then we started our gloating thread, which is still one of my favorites).

What I Think About The Mun: Lady is always amazing. She is kind, always positive, always caring about others. Really one of the best people I’ve met on this site and she is one of the friends I have on my blog-tracking list (there are three. Skye is another on that list btw.).

Overall Opinion: Lady is an excellent writer. She always has something interesting going on, whether it be Lifelessons (yes, I’ve read that one several times by now) or threads on her other accounts (and I always enjoy every single one). This is another person I would follow even if they aren’t taking any new threads because of the quality of her writing. She is truly talented and everyone should take a look at some of her threads. (and yes, her blogs are easy to navigate)

In the dream, he "awakes" to finding himself strapped nude to a surgical table. Kumogakure medics loom over him like a pack of jackals: hungry and eager to cut. "This is Hyūga Hiashi?" one jeers, reaching out to touch Hizashi's face. "We're fortunate they gave him to us alive." And a spare. Shrill, high-pitched, and disturbingly familiar childish shrieks come from a nearby table as a tiny body thrashes about, crying at the top of his lungs for his father.

In a flash of shock and dread, Hizashi twtiches “awake”, finding himself bathed in a fluorescent light. Fear isn’t instant. He’s been surrounded by vultures all of his life, he thinks he can handle what they have in store for him. Then he hears it. The terrified screams of his most precious person. ‘Neji!’ He can’t even open his mouth to let his son know that he’s there. That everything will be alright. And, that is what fills the man with a fear like no other. Eyes skittish, movements frantic, Hizashi lets out a silent shriek of anguish.

If she noticed the sour undertone, she didn’t comment. Instead, slim digits continued to twirl a dumpling skewer as dark orbs caught slightly irritated counterparts, “No offense Akimichi, but subtle isn’t exactly one of your strong points.”

“...”

“Besides, this sounds dangerous...” Trailing off, she paused, hand drifting to her side in slight contemplation, “Wouldn’t it be better if one of the ANB--”

“Megumi please. I can handle this.”

---Or maybe not. Resisting the urge to sigh, Terasu checked his pockets for the umpteenth time. Fingers had just slid into his hidden weapons pouch when the disguised operative walking alongside him made a not-so-discreet coughing gesture with a well aimed side glower. Umino Kirito had worked with the Akimichi plenty of times before, though this was the first time he was seeing him as fidgety as a rookie.

Granted, this was probably his first time going undercover like this. From what he had read, the Mugen were no lightweights and any misgivings on their part could result in serious consequences.

Everything had to be perfect. 

“You remember our rendezvous points?”

“Hai” Terasu replied, rolling one shoulder under his dark colored haori. Both of them were dressed in casual civilian attire, though the Akimichi was posing as a pampered merchant of sorts and was forced to look the part. 

Naturally, that irked him even more. Honestly, he would have been content as the Umino-companion, despite whatever his earlier confidence with Megumi suggested. Not to say that he doubted his own skills, but something about black markets and human trafficking always left an acrid, bitter taste in his mouth. 

To put it shortly, he couldn’t help the lingering suspicion that his meeting was meant to be more than just an extension of corporate interest.

I don’t really hate any characters, at least not that I can think of, but I guess I’m neutral on Kakuzu. His interactions with Hidan are pretty entertaining though~

T - Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending, about anything at all (gender identity, sexual or romantic orientation, extended family, sexual preferences like top/bottom/switch, relationship with poetry, seriously anything)

Nah. Headcanons, in my opinion, are just that--headcanons, someone’s opinion on a character that they may have some evidence for or none at all. However, there are some portrayals of characters or headcanons that I don’t really agree with, but I don’t think my headcanons are the ultimate-end all headcanons either. One of the coolest parts of rping is that everyone puts a little of themselves into their character, so you end up with so many variations of the same characters. People thinking that their headcanons are the ultimate representations of a character and everyone else’s are wrong and stupid and being very public and adamant about what they consider ‘ooc’ is honestly one of my pet peeves as well. It’s okay to not like a hc or disagree with it, of course, but everyone has their own interpretation and people on tumblr have a bad habit of shaming people for completely innocent headcanons simply because they disagree with them.
