Summary: Kita does his first solo vlog for MerciV flight logs and has a 'special' guest and an epiphany.
Characters: Heng Kita and Sung Kang
Warnings: None. Well...slight injury but nothing serious. Also a speck of fluff if you squint.
"Hey, VStars it's your boy Kita."
The camera blurs for a bit before focusing on the disheveled idol. He tries to fluff up his hair to look more presentable but it just resumes its messy state.
"Sorry, just got back from rehearsal and showering, but I wanted to check up on you guys today. How are you all?"
His voice is low and full of exhaustion as if he's trying to keep it down. His eyes briefly scan the comments flowing in before spotting one and smiling.
"Well...my voice is low because my roommate in here is trying to sleep. Can you guess who Stars?" Kita responds.
Picking up the camera and turning in his chair to face a bed on the other end of the room. There's a figure unidentifiable since they had their head stuffed underneath a pillow snoring away to their hearts content. He smiles fondly before turning and placing the camera back.
"Sung is a cute mess but that's who he is in general. Anyways, Snow Days is almost out guys! Are you excited? We put in some extra hours..."
Kita trails off looking off to look at Sung once again. He sighs shaking his head before turning back.
"Sorry. It's just...since I'm in charge of this album I highly relied on Sung's producing skills and knowledge. I may have worked him a bit too hard, hm."
The comments soon turn to apologetic thanking the two of the for their hard work. Kita only sighs for the fifth time that night. He grabs his phone and thumbs through it looking for something.
"The tracklist VStars, mainly consists of me and Sung... I wanna be more useful to him though. Despite me writing most of the lyrics up here. Free creative liberty is always a treasured thing to have so don't take advantage of it."
He finally holds his phone up to the camera showcasing some notes on the bonus track of the album.
"This has to be my favorite song...we collaborated on something truly together so of course I'm going to treasure it."
A comment soon pops up saying there's something behind him. The idol frowns at this before shaking his head.
"I'm not falling for that." He says bluntly which only causes the increase in comments.
Deciding to put a stop to this he holds his phone up, and turning on the front facing camera to look. Instead of an actual person he just sees a hooded figure-
Oh...so the fans were right...
Kita sharply turns around in the chair getting into attack mode. He swiftly kicks the hooded figure back making them stumble and trip over their own footing. There's a sharp thud and a whiny 'ow' as the hooded figure just rubs the back of their head in pain. Just as he was going to apologize and inform everyone of a intruder the figure whines again.
"Kita-hyung...do you always have to beat everyone up first and ask questions later?"
"Huh? Who are you and how do you know my name!?"
The hooded figure sighs tiredly before pulling the blanket like hood back to reveal Sung Kang. He pouts at Kita only for the other to start spewing out apologies while trying to help him up. The comment section is flooded again asking the both of them if they were okay. Though Kita ignores them for a second to pull another chair besides his to place Sung in.
"I'll be right back!" He says sharply before running out the room.
Sung only blinks before squinting at the monitor and his eyes lighting up despite the throbbing pain at the back of his head.
"VStars! Did you like my performance? Were you all worried?" He bombards them with questions before hissing in pain laying back in the office chair. "I should've figured he'd attack me but...I had fun...sorta."
Kita comes back just in time ice bag in hand along with a pillow he probably stole. Quickly sitting him up to place the ice bag behind his head. Words couldn't describe how worried and slightly embarrassed he was about Sung. He was being soft...
"Why would you do something stupid like that? I could've actually hurt you." Kita scolds only for Sung to laugh.
There's a moment of silence. Kita now rubbing the back of his head sheepishly before turning back to the computer to catch up on the comments. He reassures the fans that everything was fine and apologized greatly for worrying them. Sung also apologized, as best as he could, to the fans before they called it a night and ended the VLive. Once the camera was off Kita slowly turns to face Sung still guilty.
"You didn't...hit your head to hard against the bed did you?"
"No! I'm fine hyung really! Plus, I'm hard headed anyways, so it would take something really to knock me out..."
Sung is quick to reassure him once again. Patting his arm several times then letting it rest there.
It felt nice...comfortable like it belonged there and-
Kita suddenly flinches jolting Sung back. When the other questions what's wrong...again. He only scowls flustered before getting up and storming out the room. Leaving a confused and mentally exhausted Sung behind.
Ever since she laid eyes on him and proceeded to introduce herself, she knew he must be protected at all costs and VStars can agree as well. Sung is actually intimidated by her but rest assured it doesn't last long. Whenever they interact together it's always Sung whining about personal space but enjoys her hugs. He always asks her for food recommendations and advice. Overall, they don't hang out often since he's cautious about a certain someone wanting to probably beat him up and that's the last thing he wants to do. Even if he despises the guy.
Jimin [BTS] : Close Friends :
These two became fast friends in an instant once they initiated contact. They were both the emotional and excitable types they easily get worked up over each other performances. Sung easily confided in Jimin on a more personal level sharing his insecurities and secrets. Though once Sung confessed that what Kita said was semi true during the VLive about wanting the album signed. Jimin instantly laughs and invites Sung to a cafe to meet 'the artist himself'. Overall, both are really close friends that would do just about anything for the other.
Rocky [ASTRO] : Quiet Duo :
Both don't talk much but both love the color red. Though their trying to open up to each other, Sung asking for dance help because sometimes he doesn't get Akio's teachings. Rocky is understanding and is eager to teach Sung some new moves and learn the moves he was suppose to learn. Their trying as long as these coffee 'dates' go well maybe their friendship could deepen. Both groups joke about how they are probably communicating telepathically and they are probably right.
Suga [BTS] : ??? :
Sung actually hasn't fully met him yet, but he's an emotional and shy wreck just thinking about it. He knows he's gotta prepare and Jimin promises to be there to break the ice, but he's still unsure of himself so he keeps rescheduling. Other than that, he thinks of him as his inspiration and would totally want to collab if he was less nervous.
