CELESTIAL IMPACT | JUPITER & CHEREN

castelia city ― a heavy-handed location full of overbearing buildings, max potential and the powerfully working class ― seemed like the perfect place for jupiter to start her rendezvous. even if she wasn’t so familiar with the place, she was able to use her analytical abilities to fit right in with the crowed; though it wasn’t at all that hard due to the mass amount of busy citizens minding their own business as they paced past one and other on the cobbled streets.
she sure wasn’t unovan born, nor did she really have a fond interest in the region, but she knew she had to start somewhere ― so where better than the most work orientated city in the world?
as always, jupiter kept to herself. anyone could tell that she had a professional appeal from her formal attire and hair that was tightly slicked back in a duo of magenta buns, but even then she didn’t give much attention to those staring. jupiter only had her eyes open for one person: juniper. she is the unova regions professor, and she is the key to all of jupiter’s plans.
café sonata is where they planned to meet. jupiter didn’t give much of a description in her message, so there was no definite chance that professor juniper would show ― this whole mission was a hit or miss ― and that’s what excited galactic commander the most. by pressing onto the burgundy marble door, jupiter was able to slip out of the crowded pavement and into the relaxed bistro, allowing a sigh to escape her lips. she ruffled her bangs straight and made a quick analysis of the room, but the results indicated that juniper wasn’t here.
pursing her lips, she moved closer inside and headed towards the open bar. there were a duo of co-workers idly cleaning up the coffee machines, though their attention turned to the tall, athletic figure that emerged in front of them.
“black coffee, if you have it.”
said an emotionless tone. although it was common for her to be sharp and blunt with strangers, the idea of waiting around in foreign territory irked her even more, so she had no emotional capacity to be nice. one of the baristas nod and began to prep her drink, which then gave jupiter enough time to notice a humble looking figure at her side.
black ruffled hair, a plain white shirt and a familiar face ― who was he? jupiter furrowed her brows at the man, though she couldn’t for the life of her remember who he was. the barista then brought jupiter her black coffee, so she decided to sit besides the man and cup it in her grasp. she wasn’t to talk to him ― perhaps he knew something about professor juniper that could help her ― but she sat in silence for the time being, awaiting for the signal.
