I have this headcanon:

you being the medic of the team, feeling super shit for not being able to save Soap and Ghost being surprisingly soft and holding you, grounding you with his solid body but at the same time, his hands are soft and brushing tears away from your face. him telling you you couldn't do anything about it, reassuring you and breathing with you...

after a while, Ghost cupping your face, shushing you gently: "I got ya... shhh, it's okay" and hugging you tightly.
