it's fascinating that in these last arcs, there's through line of keiwa's hypocrisy when it comes to the goddess. he's angry at her but still wants her to grant his wish -> didn't want to join's ace dgp at first bc there was no way for the goddess to atone for her sins -> and now that he's w/ tsumuri, a person w/ the goddess' powers, he doesn't hesitate to use her to get his wish to be more powerful to be granted
Exactly! The whole thing was never about anyone but his family. About the people he knew. And his own desires. Which, yes! Is fine! Let him hesitate and waffle and figure it out: but it’s telling.
Keiwa really chose to create a new Goddess. When he considered not fighting to protect people because he couldn’t make the last one atone.
And you realize he hasn’t truly changed much.
