GFI SX Invitational days🙌🏼 #Repost @mxculture ・・・ Probably the first nac-nac I ever saw live was @mikemetzger on his NCY YZ125 at the Perris Invitational SX in SoCal I think maybe ‘94. This triple seemed so huge back then. The spectators would line the course or watch from the hillside where I took this pic. The race was always around New Years and usually a week or two before Supercross started. I had moved to the Midwest already but would go back home for Christmas to see family and of course go to these one-off events. When it moved to Vegas I ended up announcing it and then also announced a few at Glen Helen for the Chaparral invitational SX events too. Anyone remember or go to these events? Anyone race it?
