With her teammates headed home for the night, and no UBERs available, Brooklyn decided to remain at the bar for the time being. She grabbed her things, then plunked down at the bar next to the only other chick there.

“Cool streaks. Love them.”  She slammed her stuff down on the edge of the bar, and ordered herself another drink.

“New friend, you want a drink too?”

for the one thing meme, when or how did you discover Hellenic paganism?? Or just paganism in general.

Well Hellenic Polytheism as an actual term I discovered when I joined the witch community on tumblr like 7 years ago. However, I’ve been studying and admiring the Greek gods and Ancient Greece since I was a little kid. Used to even wish I could worship them. So it’s kind of been with me my whole life but only really realized it fairly recently.

Liz glanced at Tony, and raised her eyebrow. She had been too preoccupied with her day, and she couldn’t figure out why he’d said such a thing to her. “K, I have no idea, if that’s sarcasm or not, but no. I don’t like hurting people I care about.” She hadn’t had more than a few visits with Tony, but he was quickly taking a definite big brother role in her life. She would be stupid to allow a comment like this slip past her. 

Tony had come to see Liz as a little sister. And in some ways, he saw part of himself in her. “You do tend to end up a lot of bad situations.” he answered, not looking up from the work he was doing at his desk. “I got a call from our little spider about your latest little incident.” he replied. “Do you have any bruises or anything I need to look at?”

Kharon gives her gentle smile, blinking bright hues at her as it seemed she was pleased with the flower. “A lucky guess? I... it just felt right I suppose...” He chuckles, moving to rub a hand at the back of his neck shyly. “... I grew it myself.”

John appeared on a sidewalk. He glanced around, frowned at his wrist, and tapped on his glitching vortex manipulator, but it was no use. Maybe it just needs a rest. To recharge or something. He can always call TB or the Doctor with their TARDISes to get him out of here if it doesn’t start working again, but for now he should at least find out where and, more importantly, when he is. But with it glitching the way it is, he really could be anywhere and anywhen. He walked up to the first person he saw. “Er– This might be a strange question, but could you tell me where we are and what year it is?”

The bookstore cafe was cozy, warm, and encourged book browsers to stay a while longer. Bruce had already purchased an edition of Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and a book of an Asgardian’s attempt to explain the science behind magic. If Liz didn’t get here soon, he was already eyeing a book on cosmic radiation.
