“Oh! Wonderful, they now let children run around outside by themselves. Most I have seen have soon been devoured by what the wilds have to offer. Why must they be so quick to grow up whilst being so naive I will never know.”

Asha was still pretty confused about how the past few hours of her life had even occurred, but she figured that as long as she was still conscious and not seriously injured, she’d be okay. At least that was what she told herself. It was working, mostly.
Nonetheless, that didn’t stop her from feeling lost as she started wandering in an attempt to familiarize herself with this new sector in this new city in this new G-d-only-knows-where-it-really-is. Not to mention her chest felt tense seemingly for no reason at all. It almost left her short of breath. She wasn’t afraid of asking for directions though, not even from a boy who, to her, looked every bit like he should’ve been modeling for a junior’s clothing line or starring in an adaptation of some Victorian drama.
“Hi there,” she said casually, waving at the kid. “Do you happen to live around here? I’m kinda lost.”

Mikoto was currently passing out fliers to some sort of new establishment a block away from where the redhead was standing. A stranger, presumably the manager or owner, had come up to him after seeing the girls’ certain attraction to him and insisted that he pass these out. The man left before Mikoto could deny the request, and then he was stuck passing the fliers out.
Sighing heavily, Mikoto obeyed the request dutifully, flashing a bright smile to each person and sending a few courteous here and there. After a while, the mundane task got tedious and boring, and eventually a thought popped into his head.
How come one piece of paper can cut me but a chuck of paper can’t?
Determined to test the question, the redhead first took a large amount of fliers before running it quickly over the palm of his hand. A large grin decorates his face as he realizes it didn’t hurt him. He does it again and again, until a sharp pain shoots up his arm and blood starts to seep out of the cut.
. . .
“Oh shit!” He yells, clutching his palm and dropping the rest of the fliers to the ground.

“Pardon me, but would you happen to know if there are any churches nearby? I don’t recall seeing any around.”
Coming into a new world that didn’t need his talents of being a God Eater, there was little he could actually do. Research and orders weren’t necessary, as he had no base of operations to keep safe, or a town of people to guarantee that they wouldn’t become Aragami bait. He began to seek out different activities, but plant research didn’t exactly last the entire day. As if a sign that perhaps he was required in this world of seemingly perfect ideals, a car driving almost full speed and a child in the middle of the street caught his attention. Before he could mutter about how big of an idiot the child was, he sprinted, Aragami blood forcing his speed to outmatch the car and grab the other by the back of his collar.
No sooner, did he throw him to the side of the street, Soma getting ran over by the car in the process. Thankfully, he was given half of his endurance, and lasted the impact. Anger was his immediate reaction, the God Eater slowly standing from the spot that he was flung to. Taking heavy, annoyed steps towards the child, he almost cursed him out, however caught himself before exploding in the rage that caused him to be known as a monster. Taking a deep breath as he reached the side he was at, Soma stopped right in front of him.
“Playing in the street is stupid. Seriously.. Are you okay?” It took him awhile to display human empathy, but it was both of their fault that the child might have some scratches and bruises from being tossed.

It seems there are no free tables in the café - unfortunate but she can get over it... Walking more is no option though, so she simply walks on the nearest table that isn’t fully manned.
“ You may act as though I’m not here. I’ll be more than happy to return the favour. “
