The night was still young and Charley was winding down at a small, bustling bar downtown. She hadn’t been on a job in a couple weeks and, after spending so much time with the boys this week, understandably needed a night alone. She loved them to pieces but sometimes she just wasn’t in the mood to hear Pink spitting insults at Brown, White scolding Pink and Eddie telling everyone to shut the fuck up. Just not tonight.

Her arms lay folded atop the bar as she waited to be served, and she found her gaze wander over to the woman a few steps away-- well, her hands. Her nails, to be specific. “Excuse me,” she hummed, clearing her throat softly and leaning over to get her attention, “I hope you don’t mind me saying-- your nails are a beautiful colour. They really look lovely.” The girl offered a shy but warm smile, meeting the lady’s brown eyes.

It’s funny, she thinks, on how children tend to do the exact opposite of what their parents want. The DiAngelo family was known for one thing and her family, the prestigious Horne’s were known for another. And yet, Adrianna had settled into a quieter living than what was expected of her and Missy all but cut all ties with her family and their dwindling financials. 

“You know I’m pretty picky about what ends up on my walls.” Missy begins, her heels clicking and echoing in the gallery space. So far it’s just been deer heads.” Her one eye swivels to catch Adrianna’s reaction if there was any. “Figured investing in something special couldn’t hurt none. Especially when you come so highly recommended.”

I saw your askbox was empty, so i had to indulge... could you rate your muses from least to most likely to have halloween movie marathons with their partner (oddly specific, yet i’m not sorry hahaha)

Umh... Okay, I’ll try. I’m not sure if I can properly rate them, though.

Chance would definitely do that, and he would be absolutely hilarious like laughing his ass off at the funniest moments and hiding behind the couch at the scariest.

Kismet would do this, too, and they would be the one laughing at the spooked partner but also giving them cuddles.

The nameless, Blaze and Bobby would do that, though they don’t really like horrors and stuff, but they would enjoy it if their partners would.

The Gent, Matt, and Matador will do it but use every opportunity for teasing and sex.

Vic, Morris, Budd, and Greg would do that only after the long persuasion.

Tuunbaq and Diaz would definitely prefer sex to movies.

Deacon would get completely drunk to the end of the second movie, so if his partner doesn’t want him to drink himself to death, they should cancel the marathon.

I’m not including Jack and Baron Samedi here bc they most likely won’t have any romantic relationships in my RP.

Besides his own names, Son of dawn and Lightbringer connected to the Sun meaning that he probably has a part of it in him, too.

017 Saint Jack doesn’t believe in righteous people or saints. Every person has dark secrets, deep fears, the breaking point when they’re ready to sell their soul, and their price. He’s never met anyone actually saint but he believes in choices. He believes that anyone can make the right choice even if it’s the tough one.

066 Music Some say that the Devil once was bored, made a flute, and invented the music. Ages passed, the story changed many times. Even if he knows the truth he won’t tell you, mostly because he barely remembers it himself. Jack loves the music, different kinds of it, and depending on which of the stories he is himself. As to the current version of him, he also has no preferences in modern music as long as it touches the souls.

UPD: Does Jack play any instrument? Yes, he does. No, he doesn’t. He’s the Devil. His energy outbursts drive people mad, pull out their deepest fears, their anger, and can literally make people kill each other in rage. Imagine what can happen if he starts to play violin? The pied Piper would seem a joke. So, yes, of course, he can play anything. No, he never would.

141 War Blaze was at WWII as a Soviet soldier. He left Russia long before that but when it starts, the greatest war at his homeland, he came back and he made all other supernatural beings rise and fight. Most of them fought as humans and used their powers only as an extreme measure because they were there to help, not to conquer. So did Blaze. A lot of his kin was killed in that war, it severely reduced the number of magic creatures on Russian soil as well as it did to humans.

160 Afraid Blaze is not really afraid of anything. He’s not afraid of dying, though when three Slavonic heroes actually beat him he was a bit scared that he wouldn’t be able to restore. It’s not actually a fear also but he’s concerned that he’ll never be able to fly again bc living in the human world he has little opportunity to reveal his nature freely. The real fear he has is to lose someone he loves again. His wife was taken from him, she was fading and dying for months and he couldn’t help her. He’s afraid that he’s doomed and it’s going to happen again.

117 Greed Of course, he’s greedy. He’s the Serpent and sort of a dragon. He loves expensive things, shiny stuff, precious gems. Everything in his possession should be the best, and he should have enough money to let himself buy everything he wants. Many things he keeps in his vault haven’t seen the light of day for centuries, only he can touch and see them. Those are old artifacts, magic things, exquisite jewelry, and pieces of art from the past, lost or considered destroyed.

Not Accepting.

Donny’s drooling. He’d feel bad about it in a minute but for now, he’s just barely awake and could care less about what’s secreting out of him. He groans, grumbles, buries his face further into the pillow before twisting and turning himself about and finally raising his head. It takes a moment to take in his surroundings.

He can tell he’s not home, which isn’t all that uncommon. It’s a cleaner space, it smells nice. There’s a woman next to him in bed and he just smiles to himself, smug as usual. But alas, the night was over, Donny was awake, and there was only one thing on his mind. He gently pokes at her shoulder, hoping to wake her up. “Hey...Hey, ya got any breakfast on-the-go sorta stuff? A Jimmy Dean situation? I’ll take toast even, I ain’t picky— I’m just real hungry.”

She glanced at her nails, smiling faintly, then turned to the girl that had started the conversation. “Hey, would you like to have a drink with me? I’m waiting for my brother here, but I would enjoy the company.“ She stirred her martini and looked back to the girl with a small smile. “I’m Adrianna by the way.“

A beam melted onto the girl’s face. “That sounds lovely-- sure,” she smiled, eyes twinkling at the offer. She picked up her handbag and moved over to sit beside Adrianna, setting it on her own lap. “I’m Charley.” Lifted a shy finger to let the bartender know she wanted to be served, then politely ordered a pina colada. She turned to her new friend, “So... what do you do for a living?” A question fuelled by interest rather than nosiness (there’s a slight difference).
