He reached out a hand towards the white furball, waiting till she walked over before gently running his fingers through her fur, smiling a little more at the rumbling of the happy little purrs to fill the air. He always had preferred animals over dealing with other humans. At least Jumin wasn’t the type to ask pointless questions.

It surprised her: how honest he was being about his emotions. For once, she thought, smiling. Jiyeon let the handle of the door go. “Alright,” she said, “I’ll stay. You still have work to do, though, don’t you?”

She moved to his side behind his desk, skimming what he had on it. Usual C&R business, she assumed, recognizing a couple of the names from her work with party guests, but one thing was not like the others. She spotted rendered mock-ups for another one of his cat projects. Chuckling, she pointed at them and asked, “What’s this one?”

Of all the words of advice to come from the other, Luciel hadn’t quite been expecting to hear that. He blinked a few times as though trying to decide just how he should react to such words. Think about himself? Heeh. Jumin was one to talk but he was still a little curious as to why he was being given such advice at the moment. “Are you concerned about little old me?”, he asked in a sing-song like way, gazing down at his phone as he answered a few of the text messages to come in, trying to make it seem as though he wasn’t paying too much attention to the current conversation, “If you’re so worried you should let me see Elly”, he grinned and turned his attention back to the other, “She’d lift my mood in no time!” @mxnsterfclt
