Well just like... to chat about this book in an easy way, since communicating on tumblr is almost impossible and not everyone uses facebook. But if people end up not discussing the book and just want to talk about whatever, that would probably be okay. 

There is already a Beings server but I do not go on it and know nothing about it, but I periodically remind people it exists in case they are interested. But I then poke someone else for the link to it cuz idk.

It’s the writer formerly known as Angsty Pickles. I was redoing some stuff. XD Anyway, yeah, they’re all too willing to blame oversights or “software issues” for things, like hundreds of foreign sales that somehow never got entered into the system and somehow that “error” went unnoticed by them until I emailed 6 times. It took over 2 mo to get a reply too. They didn’t even acknowledge my previous emails until I threatened to go to the foreign translation house directly.

This makes me vaguely curious as to whether this crap just grew organically from how their business was already run, like, why not be sloppy and skim the difference, or if it was a thing from the start and they just got worse at it?

@sweetfirebird​ I’ve only ever used it for text chatting in a few groups I’m in and it just took me a while to understand how the channels worked and stuff. I just barely learned how to spoiler tag stuff a couple weeks ago. LOL. I can see its usefulness for group chatting, though. I do miss the old school group chat rooms sometimes. I feel like Discord comes close-ish

I sort of wonder sometimes at the cultural shift away from sites with easy group communications capabilities toward sites where it’s more like shouting at strangers, and people sort of shout back.

Santa Girl. I haven’t finished it yet (I paused it to get some editing stuff done) but yeah the weird attitude toward the elves is really bugging me.
