Well, the chiropractor appointment went well today. I don't actually know how to describe it today. I doubt it's a breach of privacy to discuss it (especially since I never name names and wouldn't ever do that intentionally) but it's moreso that I've legitimately forgotten everything that was said. It went well enough, I think.
They tried cupping or something today. I think they tried it last week too. They also do other exercises too, so I think it's fine. I saw posts here dismissing it all as pseudoscience before, and that now swims in my head whenever I have an appointment. But I do think the chiropractor appointments are helpful, and doesn't that count for something? I'm hoping it does.
It's weirdly soothing to have the chiropractor appointments. I find it actually does help me with stress. And as someone who's stressed pretty often, I guess that's something.

Last time I went was may 2011. I had an IUD put in. I had switched over to my boyfriendās family doctor but had a lot of anxiety with seeing a male doctor about my womanly needs. Heās a SUPER fantastic doctor though.
Having anxiety/depression affects my ability to make simple phone calls. Especially related to me. The only thing Iām 100% comfy with is calling mom or ordering a pizza.
So yeah calling for a doctors appointment is totally hard.
anyway so my daughter has an appointment last week and I knew it was time for IUD to be out like last month so while I was at the office, I made the appointment!! DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNNNN
I went today. Totally nervous because nervous is my middle name after all rofl.
Let me tell you male-dudes.. Female physicals aren't fun. not saying that yours arenāt because I know they suck too.
But Breast Exams are not fun (unless with your significant other... tmi? sorry) awkward as hell having a doctor touch yer boob. But i got through it.
Then its... *drumrolls* pap smear time. yay! (sarcasm)
He makes sure iām not totally menstruating during this appointment and iām like āno i only get them like every 6 months because of dis IUDā And proceed to tell him that Its time for it to come out. And he can take it out! so it saved me waiting for a gynecologist woohoo!!
It hurt a bit getting it out. Its a different pain from period cramps so I cant describe it. Its nowhere as bad as getting an IUD put in thankfully.
But Iāve told him i want my tubes tied now (tubal ligation for those who donāt know)
So after Im all done, he asks if I have a health plan (of course I donāt) so he comes in the office with 3-month supply of birth control pills and tells me if I run out before getting my tubes tied, just come back and he will hook me up with more until the works get done.
My doctor is awesome.
-so some of you know that i live in Canada and are wondering about me and this lack of healthplan. Alot of our healthcare is free. PILLS/MEDS/anything needed at a pharmacy are not!! and the birth control pill is almost 30$ a pack for a standard brand (which covers you for nearly a month) Some doctors will provide with sample meds in case people are unable to afford some right away

Me and my male-companion were in the condom section of the store. I felt like I was an awkward 17 year old again.
ah shit. It just dawned on me that I have an appointment with my doctor during winter break. I've stopped taking one of my meds. For reasons. She's more than likely going to do blood work again (ugh) and I have no doubt in my mind she'll interogate me about how I've lost so much weight. lalala deny.deny.deny.
