“Mama tells me I shouldn’t bother, that I ought to stick to another man…”
Edward Telford could think of a million reasons to not like Bobby, his next door neighbor. And at the top of that list, is the noise levels, because Bobby never knew how to be quit, apparently. And yet, as with everyone else, Bobby had managed to worm his way not only into Edward’s life, but—unfortunately for Ed—his heart as well.

Thing 1; So due to various reasons we’re getting new DVR boxes on Thursday and we won’t have TV between Monday night and Thursday some time. Due to this Dawn is gonna lose all her recordings, including the episodes of season 3 of The Librarians. Thus, Dawn wants me to get caught up. We finished season 1 yesterday and we’re currently working on season 2. Episode 9! So we’re almost done. I’m really loving this show, but not to the point of obsession yet....probably for the best.
Thing 2; Dawn is an author. She and I talk out plot bunnies and I edit her work while giving feedback and such. Well I was reading some of her work tonight and was giving her some feedback on something I’d looked over before and she reminded me of the last time I looked over it and I just had to share. Last time I looked over this work there was a piece of dialogue when a male was asking the main female what she wanted for dinner, she responded with spaghetti. On the next page said male character stated he was making stir fry. Making me ask “Spaghetti or stir-fry?” It’s probably not as funny to you as it is to me, but it’s at least chuckle worthy
“It is now nearly twenty years since this Tragedy was, as before stated, sacrificed to the benign spirit of Party. The wound, given, has long been healed, but not the consequences ; for no one but myself can know, or have any conception of, the numberless injuries and impertinences to which it has given rise. Time, however,— so just, for the most part, to others,—will one day, perhaps, be just even to me. In this hope I have written another drama, founded on the best parts of the last, and with what little further skill, study and experience may have given:
But I must wait till Party shall be dead, And Time propitious.”
I’M CRYING A LOT OVER HERE OK???????
The heroes of ancient Greece wept more often than our silly, sentimental modern women. They knew it did no good to hold it back. Our ideal is the impassive courage of a statue. Unnecessary. Be sad and then you'll soon be over it.
