more of a "for fun post", a compilation of music that reminds me of altuyur in some way! Would love to animate on some if I can, been piling up what id like for each of them in my head.
edit: they don't reflect how maanul/kyhuine music would sound like!
The Teen Wolf characters and their Stranger Things counterparts (Vecna is obviously the Nogitsune)
Oooh! Okay then. Let's do this.
--
Scott McCall/Mike Wheeler: They both think they're the main character in the show and that they deserve to get the girl -- but they don't. They both have selfish tendencies and a complete lack of social empathy outside of anything that has to do with them, and tend to blame whoever is closest for their problems.
Stiles Stilinski/Steve Harrington & Dustin Henderson: All three of these characters have tons of trauma (which is constantly ignored and belittled) and they are regularly pushed to the side even though they're essential to the story--and one might argue that they are the main characters. They are all also smarter than anyone realizes and are constantly saving everyone else's collective asses on a regular basis. (I tried to break this up, but these two characters are the perfect reflection of Stiles)
Derek Hale/Eddie Munson: They are both ostracized members of their community who are older than the rest of the group and feel an obligation to take in the outcasts and strays. Both of them are also sarcastic, natural-born leaders that are constantly being blamed for things they didn't do (e.g., getting accused of a murder that wasn't their fault). They don't always handle the big situations well, but they always come through in the end.
Lydia Martin/Nancy Wheeler: Insanely smart, constantly underestimated, and both of them manipulate people to get what they want. They search for the truth, no matter what the cost. They are the definition of “looks like a cinnamon roll, but will kill you”.
Allison Argent/Max Mayfield: Both of them are strong and independent young women with a driving need to prove to themselves that they can do things on their own without the help of a boy. They also both have trauma that they feel guilt over, despite it not being their fault.
Sheriff Stilinski/Sheriff Hopper: This one explains itself. They are both men in law enforcement who are oblivious and skeptical, and then get dragged into the supernatural world against their will. They are also both determined to keep their towns and their kids safe, no matter what the cost. (also, sarcastic to an extreme)
Melissa McCall/Joyce Byers: These women are both single mothers who would do anything for their kids. Determined to get to the truth, they will find it out no matter what it takes and fight for what’s right. They also don’t take any crap from anyone who tries to get between them and their children.
Peter Hale/Billy Hargrove & Dr. Alexei: Morally gray, always having their own agenda, and always looking for a way to use a situation to their advantage. These men do what they must to survive, even if it means other people getting hurt in the process -- until a small part of their conscience guilts them into helping out, typically at the last minute and under duress.
Isaac Lahey/Jonathon Byers: Ignored and pushed to the side, they both have been forced to shove down extreme trauma from their fathers that everyone seemed to forget about and expected them to get over. They are thought of as unimportant, but are always there when their friends need them the most.
Jackson Whittemore/Murray Bauman: Smart, but too smart for their own good. They are both constantly trying to pretend that they are tough and that nothing gets to them, but the truth is that they are scared to death. Both have dangerously addictive personalities and dark sides that they are scared to confront, and have a habit of trying to run from their problems.
Cora Hale/Erica Sinclair: Both of them are vibrant, independent, and do not like to be bossed around -- more often than not, they know more than you and will cut your ego down to size with a few well-placed insults. They are the equivalent of “looks like they would kill you, and would actually kill you”.
Liam Dunbar/Lucas Sinclair: These two are both unpredictable and -- though erratic and prone to sudden outbursts of anger that tend to push people away -- they are fiercely loyal. They have other friends outside their usual friends, but always return to the ones that accept them the most.
Malia Hale/Robin Buckley: I had to think about this one, but this seems to be the best parallel. These are strong, independent women who -- despite being a little bit oblivious about certain social interactions -- are very smart when it comes to trusting their instincts, and they are both fiercely protective over the ones they care about. These two are the definition of “fuck around and find out”.
Meredith Walker/Eleven: Both have supernatural abilities that only seem to work in spurts. Though when they do bring their gifts to battle, they are exceedingly dangerous and volatile -- they always try and aim for the enemy, but could still possibly hurt a friend in the process.
Alan Deaton/Dr. Martin Brenner: These two are both emotionless and manipulative in the worst sense! Only doling out information as is needed, they use it to control the people around them so that their devious goals (under the guise of being righteous goals) can be met. Never trust them with secrets.
Nogitsune/Vecna & Peter Ballard: This one is fairly obvious. They are both agents of power and chaos that are trying to drag everyone down with them, and they both feed off of fear and pain. Born out of trauma, they both use it as an excuse to destroy everything around them and make everyone as miserable as they are.

Hoo boy, this took me a couple of days to write! Hope you enjoy the analysis. I tried to carefully think over every single one of these and even had to move some characters around. Hope this is fairly comprehensive -- I did my best to include as many of the important characters. Eleven was the hardest one to find a parallel with, but I managed!
