Dads- My Crass Patch (x)
Be the newest widow’s still worn wedding ring Be a photo of autumn leaves on the first day of spring Chapped lips, don’t change a thing Don’t change a thing
yep. the best.
Be my change, don’t change a thing. Be the harvest moon that makes Jupiter sore, Be the kind of work I’ve spent my life working for. Be my drunkest nights blackout peaceful sleep, Be my memories I wish I could keep.
My Crass Patch by Dads
Dads are a two dudes from New Jersey who make twiddly punk rock have been plugging away making records and touring around the states for a few years now. They're currently on a pretty extensive tour of Europe, currently traipsing through the UK and I could not be more excited about them coming to Manchester this week as I've been a fan of these guys since they dropped their 'Brush You Teeth, Again ;)' EP back in 2011. They're just released a new EP called 'Pretty Good' which opens with this track 'My Crass Patch'. Although, the rest of the EP still retains the high energy twiddle punk of their previous material, there is a much darker, progressive tone to this release and this track is an epic opener with its 'Brand New' like dynamics, building up to break down concluding to an earth shattering crescendo. Get into this.
