:Flemeth:
Anders: A trade-off, if you will. My friend is being imprisoned and tortured in the Circle. Help me free him, and I’ll give you your maps
My Hawke: Oh, I’d help you even if there were no maps #fucktemplarlives
Anders, immediately:
Favorite NPCs in Dragon Age 2 (besides companions)
- The armor merchant in Hightown whose sales pitch is “Don’t get stabbed again! Buy our armor!”
- The random woman in the undercity who screams at passers-by, apropos of completely nothing, “Don’t like Darktown?! DIE!!”
Love how when Hawke goes to talk to Aveline about Leandra’s death, Aveline doesn’t apologize for her guard literally failing to take the Emeric/Quentin threat seriously. Instead she talks about her own mother and tries to tell Hawke a story about her father, and then gives +5 disapproval and calls Hawke an ass when you tell her you’re done with hearing kind words. Like okay you goddamn dick, Hawke’s mother’s death is not about you 🙄🙄🙄
I know that there have been about a million posts and discussions on “RPG video game choices not being an indicator of morality” or whatever but honestly I don’t think I could be friends with someone whose Hawke returned Fenris to the slavers or took Orianna as a slave. I couldn’t even watch a playthrough of it on YouTube. Who would ever be so willingly cruel 😞
There’s something about Varric’s friendship with Hawke that makes my brain go ding in the same way Donna and Ten do. I love wholesome best friends who good-naturedly tease each other and also look out for each other without being romantically attracted 😭♥️
replayed “all that remains” again today and it brought back rlly deeply buried memories of a hawke trauma!fic i started to write like three years ago so i went back and dug it out of my computer files and goddamn if it isn’t actually some solid writing
