I got tagged by the lovely @youremarvelous and in true Meera fashion, here it is with three hours of the year to spare :’)

Anyway this is the thing where you post some pictures of yourself to sum up the year, so here’s 2016 in a nutshell kinda? It’s more from the second half of the year than the first- 2016′s been rough but the second half was a lot better than the first for me (barring one thing) and I feel a looooot more comfortable in my skin than I did this time last year ^^

I have a feeling I’ll probably do a different post to sum up my year in words, but here’s the pictures side of things (featuring my sister lol)

Interview nails and shoes~ The shoes are actually really comfy? I wasn’t expecting them to be so comfy considering they were a bit of an impulse buy and I wasn’t looking for them at all at the time (not bad for 20 quid)!

Also I was particularly happy with my nails and makeup today, so I think it gave me a bit of a boost mood wise too! ^^ Now I just need to keep my fingers crossed and hope that I actually got the job (and my happiness aside, starting to work there instead would make so much of my life easier)

Speaking of my phone

(a few posts ago technically, but eh)

We did actually order a replacement buuuut it got here this morning and was the wrong model ^^’ We’re also going to try and get the broken one fixed under warranty but idk if it’ll work. We’ll see.

But that means I’m still going to be phoneless into next week now probably >.< Which isn’t particularly useful to my life

I did manage to recover my photos though!!! (I was such a miserable git on Saturday til I realised I could get them back through airdroid ^^’)

Bonus selfie collage since I ended up taking quite a few in the last couple of weeks (tbd as usual XD)

It’s funny that my hair is straight in all of them though since I can rarely be bothered to straighten it normally XD It just so happens that it was, at first, straight after I just got it cut, and then I straightened it again for my last day of work XD

As you may have guessed, the boots are the ones mentioned in the previous ask, the bottom left was me messing around with new make up (and you can see the top of my sleep poncho/hoodie thing XD And my hair is a MESS so ignore that haha), the top left is from a week or so ago - that shirt is SO SOFT, and the last is the post it note Harley left on my desk to remind me to drink enough water at work XD

Idk if she's doing it because I look pitiful with my sniffling and coughing or because she's trying to annoy me but

BUT ANYWAY when we were back in Leicester for the weekend she dragged me out to her birthday meal with her friends, which was fun. I got bored later when they wanted to go for a drink though ^^' I kind of endeded up wedged in a corner by myself, but I ended up finishing Fire so it was okay in the end I guess XD I haven't had the chance to start reading Bitterblue yet though.

ANYWAY. It was the second time I actually did my make up by myself? (And the first time using powder foundation, cause I used the liquid one at my cousin's wedding) and it didn't look too bad :O (Or well, I thought it looked kind of weird to begin with but I guess I'm not used to it at all). Anyway I ended up with a good selfie even though the lighting in my room in Leicester is really weird XD (which I will probably delete tomorrow like I usually do lol Lasted a bit longer than a day buuuut it's now been deleted XD)
