I would literally pay money for a Swan Beauty detective!au like you wouldn’t believe with Emma as the hardened PI and Belle as the cute librarian who helps out with some cases.
Emma first asks for help for a missing persons case and Belle’s research proves vital to finding Dr Hopper in an abandoned ship in the habour. Next is an undercover mission where Belle must get a recorded confession from a suspect. They soon become friends and eventually this just becomes a thing between them.
Their time together is spent solving mysteries, swapping one-liners and flirting with each other in front of suspects. It pretty much goes unsaid that they’re partners in more ways than one.
Some others are more than happy to help them - Mulan, a mutual friend, sometimes acts as extra muscle; Henry, Emma’s 10 year old son, inadvertently solves cases by being wiser beyond his years; the mysterious Mr Gold may help or hinder their cause depending on his own nefarious purposes and Graham Humbert is more than happy to lend his old deputy a hand.
From the outside they couldn’t be anymore different but that’s how they make such an amazing team.
