he   comes   home   later   than   expected,   he   had   estimated   that   it   would   only   take   him   a   few   hours   not   WELL   INTO   THE   NIGHT.   he   tries   to   be   as   quiet   as   can   be   given   his   situation,   but   steve's   always   been   clumsy   and   that's   never   gone   away.   he   trips   over   a   pair   of   shoes   laid   out   near   the   doorway   and   falls   into   the   hamper.   it's   broken   nearly   instantly   and   he   has   to   practically   untangle   himself   from   the   plastic   to   get   out.   he   really   hopes   @crimlune   isn't   asleep   yet   —   otherwise,   HE'S   PROBABLY   WOKEN   HIM   UP.
