My con loot

There were so many more Doctor Strange art prints at the LA Comic Con as opposed to San Diego and I went nuts. Here's my haul, eventually to be framed when I have my own place (which will be in a couple years, is the goal!)

The first one I bought from a UK artist.

This print is especially amazing because the originals are made on scratch board. Scratch board allows no mistakes at all. The artist claims he doesn't use a grid at all, which is especially insane for the accuracy. I can see myself getting an original easy.

This I commissioned at the show! An actual original! Simple ink and marker portrait. The artist is Tom Hodges.

This one is so cool because it's the same picture, it just changes depending on what angle you're looking at. I had to get it. From Wizyakuza.

He was out of Doctor Strange by the time I got to his booth. This is from a well known and brilliant industry artist Rob Prior. We have a mutual friend in the industry that he mentioned when he saw I got the LOTR print, and talked a couple minutes about that. I'll be looking out for the Doctor Strange at next comic con!

It's a bit big but it was only 5 bucks and look at how adorable he is. I want to squish him.

Enjoyed the show a lot, it was super laid back compared to SDCC. And it really made me want to do tons of art once more! I'll have to figure out how to balance my reading, writing, and art free time!

WOO!! I am thrilled with how fast Miniature Market’s order arrived! Their packing leaves something to be desired, but everything came out fine!
