Chicago: My Pi

Can’t make a trip to Chicago without a slice of pie. My Pi is a modern slice shop recommended by a friend who spent a stint in Bucktown. All of the feels of Pieology backed with a deep dish pie learned from the OG Shaolin Kung Fu Masters of Lou Malnati’s. A couple decades into the business and they’ve gained top honors and recognition.

Ratios right on par with the sensei. A bit more formidable of a crust, probably attributed to the slice shop retoast technique. Same classic Mozz, straight crushed San Marzanos, and a crust that has been fermented then forged to perfection.
Conclusion In a place where you would expect the classic kings to sit securely on their thrones for centuries, My Pi changes offers what we all want today: the classics presented in a fast casual format. No frills, no bullshit, no waiters, just great pizza.
