After finding peace, it took a little time for five to warm up back to Shifu, who tried many methods to create stronger bonds and spend some time together. He just wanted to get to know them better, letting them know he is always there for them, no matter what. At first times, their hesitation and confusion really made him so upset and regretful, as he realised how much he hurt them involuntarily as he tried to avoid them for years to secretly protect them from a horrible fate...
