It's a fairly silly play on words: Pacific Rim + Arthur Rimbaud.
Arthur Rimbaud was a 19th century French poet, a child genius who burned extremely bright as a youth. He lived an incredibly wild life (by contemporary accounts he was kind of a scuzzy jerkass), and then gave up all writing entirely at 20 years old and lived a second, less literary but probably far less terrible life traveling and working. He died at 37 years old.
The Pacific Rim is my geographic location—active volcanoes! the sea is fathomless and wants you dead! EARTHQUAKE! the state of California! orcas! pho! the Sasquatch-infested patch of moss where my soul resides!—AND a kickass movie about the immeasurable depths of Idris Elba's sex appeal, sweaty men with glistening pecs in giant mechsuits, and beating down interdimensional monsters with shipping vessels.
All of this encapsulates more about me, as a person, than it should.
