day 1 / 2026.2.15

today is the first day in a long time I've actually done an amount of studying I'm happy with!!! instead of just passively listening to something or jumping between resources without really taking in anything... it feels SO GOOOOD i love studying japanese sm why do i always procrastinate it 😭😭

☆ three episodes of devil may cry and wrote down all new and unconfident vocabulary

nothing ahaha........ but I'm still tracking them to keep myself accountable!!

day 12 // 2.26

☆ started working through Complete Spanish Step by Step, did 1 and a half hours. mostly all basics I've already picked up but was good to solidify everything and fill in gaps. excited to get to new stuff soon ( •̀ᴗ•́ )و

☆ 2 hrs of Real Japanese Podcast (passive listening)

☆ uhhh not much

☆ started watching OHSHC, Haikyuu and some other stuff, wrote down some new vocab but didn't actually feel like sticking with anything. might give OHSHC (watched before) and haikyuu (never watched) a longer try another day

day 5 / 2.19

☆ watched final episode of devil may cry

gradually with each episode i wrote down less new vocab but rather than it being because that many words repeated, it was more that the dialogue was simpler and action took up more time :/

also why does japanese have so many words for "destruction/ruin/decay"?!?! someday I'll have to look up if there's much difference between them...

day 6 / 2.20

☆ reviewed some new vocabulary

☆ i have a bad habit of just searching for resources and then not actually studying so I'm subscribed to a bunch of japanese youtube channels i've barely ever watched... SO today i closed my eyes, scrolled back and forth through my subscription list, and chose a random channel... and ended up with ハリセンボンOfficial Channel, which I don't remember ever even following lmao
