In 2024 I found a Gulf Fritillary caterpillar and raised it up to be a beautiful butterfly. I got to watch it form is chrysalis (kinda grody process tbh), and was lucky enough to catch it right as they were emerging! We sat together in the sun as it pumped up its wings and eventually flew away into the trees.

but now i'm genuinely thinking about buckling seeing a photo of his dad and tommy from before getting upset. asking buck with his big blinking eyes "daddy, why wasn't i there?" and when buck says well he didn't exist yet bc buck wasn't ready to be a dad yet he goes "didn't you want me back then?" maybe this is even during his tommy hater era so he feels even more like he's being replaced 😭😭😭
