I thought I would share my trick for voting and maybe it will help others who may be in the same situation. Now, to begin, remember that your vote is PRIVATE. No one needs to know you’re vote except for you and the machine that’s documenting it. However, we all have those overbearing family members that demand to know who you voted for and who you should vote for. I used this to my advantage. My whole family are strict republicans and are very vocal about it. However, I am a democrat. I have always avoided the topic of politics until Election Day. This was my first time voting, and I knew my family was going to want to know who I voted for. Therefore, before the day, I asked my dad “Who should I vote for?” He proceeded to tell me all these Republicans I need to vote into office. I kept these names in mind, and when I voted, i picked who I wanted (which was the complete opposite of who my dad said). Then afterwards, when I got all those questions, I just smiled and said that I voted for all those people my dad told me to.
