Granada, tierra soñada por mí.

I've been missing for a few days, and the reason was a getaway to the south, specifically to Granada, to admire one of our most precious treasures, The Alhambra.

A World Heritage Site, it's one of the most visited complexes in Spain, along with The Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, and is impressive in every way; it receives an average of 8,000 visitors a day. Strolling through its gardens and hearing the murmur of the fountains is a wonderful experience.

Just as wonderful are the Nasrid Palaces, a palatial complex composed of several buildings, where you can appreciate the filigree of the walls and perceive, albeit slightly, the colors that adorned them. I'll leave the historical details in this link for anyone curious. Just a warning: we had tickets booked since May, such is the demand.

And Granada, as a city, deserves a special mention: the people are fun, friendly, and very dynamic because it also has a great university environment.

It was a very fun weekend, with cultural, leisure, and culinary experiences, including its famous tapas.

Wandering through its streets and climbing the many stairs was worth it to see the Alhambra illuminated at night, one of the best sunsets you can see 🥰

Basch's trip home 🇨🇭 (and to 🇱🇮)

Went to Switzerland and Liechtenstein a couple of weeks ago, so I just couldn't resist the urge to take him 💕 I also learned so much about both countries it was a lot of fun!
