Still working on commissions lol but I thought I'd show my screen backgrounds
Been this for a WHILE
Anyway! Back to work so I can draw more GF art!
This is my efforts from the weekend, it's a slow process because I'm learning how's to sculpt fur for the first time. I'm really enjoying this.
Face reveal 💅🏻
I'm finishing up my last assignments in Illustrator before I start learning Photoshop.
Meet the unholy trinity, or my face, vectorized in triplicate.
Small Update
I don't really post anything of my own anymore, so here's a small peek into what I've been up to.
My Practice & Study
Due to personal, and semi-familial, reasons, I had to put any work from the DBoE on hold, so lately I haven't really been doing much else towards increasing my knowledge or developing my craft in any true or meaningful way. I have, quite honestly, just been allowing myself to do the bare minimum in my practice and skirt on by.
To help rectify that but in a kind of soft, gradual way, I've decided to pick up a few of my books and begin a more "concentrated" effort. I read the entirety of the middle book, pictured above, a week or two after I bought it, so I already have notes stored away in my brown leather journal on that one. It's still included in the current list of sources since I plan on reflecting both on the work of Maggi and Leitão.
The other two, my main study materials, are the ones I'm most interested in delving into. Agrippa's philosophy books are something I've always wanted to read in their entirety (probably because I'm weird), so I'll leisurely be making my way through that one. Whereas St. Cyprian is someone I've researched before and am greatly looking forward to learning more about. I'm not sure at this point whether either of these two objectives will lead to a shift in my practice or if I'll keep on keeping on relatively unchanged, and I can't say I'm all that concerned about what the potential outcome will be right now.
Some Re-Arrangements
One of my bookcases crapped out - or is in the process of crapping out on me at least - so I had to re-arrange my room so that my more expensive books/nicknacks weren't in danger of being destroyed should it collapse when I'm not home.
The final result is pretty cute ngl and probably up to witchblr's aesthetic standards. But I figured I should take some pictures before I start doing actual work again and make my room look like hot messy garbage.
So anyways that's it. That's all I feel like sharing right now, I think.
A rough, messy composition sketch of a budgie!
And in case anyone feels like their paint pallet is too messy
Don't. Organization is a lie
