Day Two: Merribee Lavender Festival

This week my 50-year-old Chiro’s secretary who doesn’t have kids was telling me about how sad she was that her Frozen’s Elsa mask had still not arrived.

She was apologizing for loving a kids’ movie and a kids’ character and was starting to defend herself when I said, Hey, it’s OK, I fully support you. I support your love of Elsa. You’re valid.

So thanks fanboys, fangirls, and fanotherwiseidentifyingpeople, for teaching me how important it is to celebrate fandom. I don’t even like Frozen. But she did. And the smile on her face and in her eyes was worth it all.

To fandom! :D
