I like your theory, but don’t you think that Kakashi is soft with women in general? Sakura had not na special treatment, he treats every woman like that, I think when Kakashi falls in love acts very differently, when you think about it, isn't it? Remember that he helped her to be with Sasuke! He begged Sasuke for her, this is not love, let’s call him a protective teacher. I can’t see nothing else but your theory is intriguing anyway. I love your question! Kakashi treats women differently! Let me break it down! When its a female opponent ..he treats her no different than the male opponent ..and can kill them without an eye blink. But with a certain respect ..that is ..he never underestimates an Opponent ..wether if it is male or female.He treats Anko in a different manner ..than ...for instance ...a Sakura! He doesnt like Anko that much ...and pays no particular attention to her. No ..he is not always that soft to every woman. If he doesnt like a woman ..he pays no attention to her ..thats that! If he is occupied with such a woman ,....as we can see when it comes to Anko ..he can react ...sarcastic and teasingly. i feel ...that he often times builds up a wall between women ...and himself. Dont know why that is. Maybe he wants to ..protect himself ....from a relationship. But ..(.you have to pay close attention to it )...but when it comes to Sakura ...he treats her in a different way. He always is kind and affectionate to her. He is comfortable in her presence. He lets her ..near him ..like no other ...female. I am speaking from Naruto Shippuuden ..not Naruto Classic. He worries about her ...he helpes her ...as much as he can. And he is ..very impressed by her like with no other female. He questions himself a lot ...when it comes to Sakura. He never critizises her. And he is the one who understands her like no other. In other words he spends a lot of thought into her. And I ...as so many others as well ...do feel ...that his affectionate feelings towards her ...are deeper ..than one might think I reapeat myself ...Kakashi ...is good in hiding his ...true intensions ..and his true feelings very good. He is a very private man. He keeps ...things ...especially the inner thought process of himself ....hidden. Many argue ..thats because ...he is her teacher after all. But ...as many others as well are certain...that there is slightly more to it ..especially when it comes to him. Kakashi doesnt give away his heart that easy! He doesnt fall in love easely! So ..even though ...there are tiny things ...that show ..his affection to Sakura ...it means something considering him ...having a hard time ..to warm up for a woman. I understand the growing Kakasaku fandom. I am not a hardcore fan ...by the way! But i can see and understand ..why this group was created. Its almost as if Kishi had something in mind with Kakashi and Sakura. But dumped it in the last milli seconds. I point out the rivalry but also respect between Sasuke and Kakashi. Now we come to Sakura. She has a conflicted mind set over Kakashi ..I am sure about that. I feel that sometimes she knows of Kakashis deeper feelings towards her. First ...of course she was all over a Sasuke! And ....slowly ...she realized that Sasuke would go his way ...he doesnt care about her that much. So she ...let him go. While i can see ..that Naruto is a very good friend of hers ..she sees Kakashi in a different way. For instance she knows ..that Kakashi says of himself ...that he is similar to Sasuke. She is a witness to his statement at the Chunin selection exams. So she ...might as well project her romantic feelings unto Kakashi. Of course she hides it! We can see the shift ...and the change of feelings towards Sasuke in Sakura. When its first ..almost an unhealthy gush over Sasuke ...this ...declines over time. She still likes Sasuke. When Kakashi says in the end of the war to a Sasuke that Sakura does not want to win his heart over but at least wants to rescue and protect him ...Kakashi speaks the truth about Sakura. He ...of all others ..understands her so well. There is no doubt ..that Sakura still has liked Sasuke back then ...but more over ..her goal was ..to protect him from being lost again.. and of course ..she wanted him to be near her. Kakashi has a soft spot for Sakura ,here is no doubt in my mind. But he knew ..he stood no chance against a Sasuke. That is why he stood up for Sakura once again. Maybe Kakashi was all fed up ..with Sakura and her being all over a Sasuke. I will continue...

Are there any good, dark and angsty Brittana fics you know of?

To be honest, I haven’t read Brittana fanfics for 3-4 years so I don’t remember all that I read. I love angst too and I read them a lot but I forgot most of their titles. You can check it out at my Brittana FanFiction Recommendations page and see if there are any angst fics you like. I’m sure there are many of them because I love angst. But personally, the most angsty, memorable, darkest Brittana fic is Remembering Sunday by collidingkiss. I was depressed for days after reading it and it might depress you considering what happened in real life lately.

Storyteller Saturday Open Ask 10/10/20

Happy Storyteller Saturday everyone! This week I’m thinking about Traits and Tropes: What is your favourite character trait to write? What is your favourite trope to write about? How about least favourite trope?

What is your favourite character trait to write? 

It definitely has to be either nervousness or and over critical thinker because I like to create the backstory which has led to them being like this, a past experience with people, places, etc.

What is your favourite trope to write about?

Okay so I’m not entirely sure what a trope is but I have a vague idea. I’d say that my favourite trope is probably when the ‘popular’ character falls in love with the shyer one. I am a bit of a hopeless romantic and do love a good Christmas story or teen romance that ends the same way.

How about least favourite trope?

Umm.. I’m not entirely sure but if I had to say something I would probably say the trope when there is a big transformation of the main character to make another character, usually, fall in love with them. I don’t like the idea of changing yourself to make yourself more appealing to others. The only opinion that matters in this scenario is your own, do it for you and only you. I do also find that this one is a bit overused but some could say that about my favourite trope so.

What do you think about Eve choosing Niko once again? It's like episode 3 never happened.

I personally think Eve is in denial about all her feelings towards Villanelle. Eve still has hope that maybe Niko and her can get through this and be normal again. She's just fooling herself.

In real life

I love her in the suit at Cannes along with Emily Blunt and another Asian actress. She looks so effing good in that photoshoot.

Another one I like is the black see through dress and jacket she wore at the photo call with Rooney.

And many more, she’s effortlessly gorgeous in every thing she wears.

Well, the show takes place on Fedal Japan Era, so that interpretation is actually really valid anyway (cuz it’s based in actual historic facts)………..

That is just a logical fallacy. The conclusion does not follow the premise. 

Did women dress up as men for protection or other reasons across history - yes

But the fact that some women did it does not entail, that Dororo, who himself identifies boy, is a girl. The existence of historical cis women and girls who pretended to be male in no way entails a particular fictional character, who functions in a historical setting is a cis girl. 

Like, yeah, even if the initial reason for rising Dororo as a boy (which has never been stated directly in the manga) was safety, that still does negate the fact Dororo explicitly identifies as a male. Real people arrive at the understanding of their gender for all sort of different circumstances. 

So the interpretation of Dororo as a female is 1) not logically valid, 2) incorrect as it directly contradicts the fact that Dororo identifies as a boy.

There is also the issue of the interpretation of historical sources - many individuals, who in the past tried to pass as men, were most likely what we call today trans men (or other genders). It’s just the trans-inclusive vocabulary wasn’t invented yet, so they are described as women pretending to be men.

Which socks from what team are your favourite?

Hakuren, because they’re just so extra. I mean, every school has socks that match their uniforms, but mostly they are normal socks that have the school colors and typically have a normal line pattern.

But Hakuren? Nooooo. They just have to have socks that matches their uniforms in color AND design.

I mean:

How did you get them? Did you have them customized or something? I just love the extra attention to their snow aesthetic here.

Plus it’s snowing outside, so I might be a little biased at the moment ;).
