Where Have I Been?

I've been MIA for a little while now. I know that this is just my instagram feed nowadays. But there's been a lot going on with me lately.

Follow along with me to focus on my positivity and creativity in my life. Kind of like my diary, but out here in cyberspace so anybody in the world can see it.

High Hopes For A Real Man

I've realized that Disney and Indian soap opera's make girls like me, have high hopes for men. Not just guys, or dudes, but real Men.

I have a little less then two weeks for my divorce case. I will officially be free of him. I really want to be at the point, where I don't have to talk about it anymore. But I find myself wondering about my response to people from now on. That is if they inquire about my marital status. Do I say I'm divorced? Or just single?

For those of you who are wondering if I would have to get another arranged marriage? Yes, yes I would. But – this time around I'm not being so naive and just go with the flow. I was trying to make my parents happy, remember. But now I have matured and I will make the best decision next time. To be honest if, my parents had to get me married tomorrow – the guy would have to have a great job, good looking, american born, understanding, sweet individual – then I would probably go for it. Why, you may ask.

I was never in a real marriage. It doesn't feel real, when you've never had a connection or real relationship for that matter, it feels like you've just been stuck in a nightmare for a really long time.

So now after four years of misery and maturity, I have high hopes for a real man.

Packing up some fun michigan stuff.

This is the third time I've posted this. But I want to be him!! I am one of those people who love to just sit in one spot and people watch, I used to write down what I thought people were doing, thinking, or where they were going.

I love how he says, "I didn't grow up, wanting to be a photographer. I didn't assist for anybody, I just kind of started doing it. So for me, it so instinctual for when I shoot. The way I do it, is just the way I do it."

And then he goes on to say "I don't see 100 images that I want to take, I just see two or three, so it's very easy for me to be patient, and wait for those images, because that's just the way, I thought it was supposed to be."

Summer to do list . . . .

So I have realized that this summer I've become very lazy. Then again I am a Virgo and we can get lazy, yet we still get things done.

So I've come up with a list of creative things that I should . . . NEED to do:

1. Tour of Detroit, with therootsofdesign, itssssmeredithhh, and some other friends.

2. Take pictures as often as possible.

3. Draw some more, and get into experimenting with colored pencils. (I only use a pencil and paper. I need some change.)

4. Henna my sisters and do a photoshoot.

5. Make a hand mold of my nieces hand. It'll be a nice gift for my sister, something she can treasure forever.

6. Get crafty~ need to decorate my backyard and have a girls get together.

7. Get a GPS to go exploring in different towns, and cities for work.

8. Hang out at the library at least once every other week to write, or research random stuff.

9. work extra and get more $$$$.

10. Make 1000 cranes and hang them somewhere.

My issue with music.

I can't ever remember the names of songs, I mean "hit songs" are one thing, but the rest of an album . . . I can always remember the music itself and lyrics. So last week at the Augustana concert on Friday my friend asked me what the name of one of their songs is, I told her,  "I just know the songs. That's all I really need."
