I mean maybe it's just my particular style, but I think it's great when someone is so so excited about Their Thing #theirthing and goes into great depth about it, because 1.) seeing other people be excited and happy is exciting and fun for others too, we're a eusocial species and we got those mirror neurons, and 2.) if you analyze something good enough it becomes interesting even if it wasn't before. I have read all kinds of deep dives about stuff I'm not into but I'm totally into that analysis of it, because analysis itself is interesting as hell. Especially when it's a transformative take on it, that's ten times as good.
Basically what I'm saying is I did not give a shit about Bucky until you started writing about him but now I'm like, rotating him in the microwave of my brain anyway, because oh damn. Slaps the living-dead monstrous shell of the man he once was. This bad boy can hold SO much character and theme analysis, it turns out. And if anybody else thinks that's boring...I mean that's their right to do that. Everyone's gonna be bored by something. You could post the most well-rounded stuff and the people who are bored by well-rounded posting will leave. Might as well post the stuff that you wanna chew on and worry around like a squeaky toy and find the people who'll gleefully watch you from their little window at their end of the internet sickos-style.
Come to think of it, I have never been disappointed to read an analysis post of a character I don't personally know anything about. Analysis is cool. It's cool to watch people doing it, it's cool to read it.
See, I'm going to ahve to watch project hail mary because everyone is posting so good about it.
But yes. Bucky. #mything #mybucky
