Do you like dragons
Does the sun rise in the morning? Does a houseplant outstretch its leaves for a sliver of sunlight? Does wood rot in the moist air? Do I laugh? Do I cry? Do I breathe?
.... yeah a bit

Some bad news about Suki
Today we learned that our sweet girl Suki, who I raised from a little baby shoelace, probably has a tumor near her lung.
The vet is going to consult with some colleagues on the x-ray and get back to us tomorrow. Probably the next step is an ultrasound to determine if the tumor is operable. If it is, we’ll have to decide if the risk of surgery is worth the likelihood of saving her.
If the tumor isn’t operable, we’re gonna have to say goodbye to our sweet girl since the tumor is already affecting her breathing and behavior.
For now we’re just crossing our fingers and trying to keep her comfortable. She’s being so darn sweet even through all this.
This is my new rack set up! Sorry for the crappy lighting, the algae, and the gross finger prints and water stains all over the glass!
On the top is my baby Crested Gecko, my Fluval Chi with Valentino, and my 3.5g With Nebula.
Middle row: Alice the Leopard Gecko and Bowie in his 2.5g
Bottom row: divided 10g with Ringo and Lennon (and some shrimp) and the 3.5g with Linus(who I am giving to a co-worker soon).
Note: For the leopard gecko Im currently using a ceramic heat emitter because my heating pad broke. Im waiting to get paid so I can order a new one.
***Not pictured: ball python tub, hermit crabitat, 3 gallon bowl, my bf’s 10 gallon, 5 gallon, 20 gallon divided, and my 45 gallon sorority tan
Carrot - Red-Sided Skink (Mabyua perrotetii)
Awkward has shed every scute except one.
Skimble’s reaction to my enrichment attempt (hanging his Reptilink off the ground).
“Are you heckin serious?”
I literally just fed you!!
Our Western hognose Suki recently moved into her new enclosure. It’s kinda hard to get the whole thing in one shot, so here’s my makeshift “panorama”.
It’s an Animal Plastics T8 (4 foot by 2 foot). The background is done with styrofoam and spray foam covered with several layers of grout, then painted and sealed. There is a dig box full of substrate built in.
She now has a radiant heat panel instead of a heat mat for a more natural basking experience. The light is set up so I can switch the bulb out for a UVB bulb in the near future. I’ll probably add more hides and clutter and maybe some leaf litter, but so far Suki seems very pleased with her new digs.
