While we knew that there was still plenty of snow high up, we were not quite prepared for the deeeeep snow drifts and howling winds up the mountain side. After getting pretty high on the mountainside, things got a little sketchy. With numb fingers and reddening legs, we decided to bail and just enjoy running back with all of our appendages intact. Forever my hero
Sometimes I forget my dad is a water witch because it seems so out of place for him and then I remember again and it’s awesome. He can find any underground water source.
Also had this guy helping me sand the original bannisters that were in the staircases in #thebyeway. From the looks of it, they still had a patina from 1975 when the house was built. They will be refinished and reused in the new staircase. We knocked out 5 of these in an hour, and I couldn't have done it without his help! #mydadisrad
