Boba Fett first escaped the Sarlacc in this very issue, published soon after “Return of the Jedi” back in 1983 Written by Jo Duffy, Fett was found by Jawas – much the same way it was written for “The Book of Boba Fett” The issue began shipping November 22, 1983, and then appeared on sale starting on this day in 1983; the date on the cover says March (1984), which back then was more of an expiration date for being on shelves
