Stumbled upon this chart summarizing "The Hero's journey" last night while waiting for my cider at the bar and haven been able to stop looking at it. It's quite clear that my "departure" happened when burnout finally made me leave Shanghai for Bali in 2013. Last year the crisis led me to India where I discovered Ashtanga and was led to Jakarta where I finally feel like I've found "home".
