This is the beginning of my book im working on which is my first time writing and i wanted feedback on the ideas so far.
Nickolas beginning: King dies from being poisoned and nick is told he has to become king before the kingdom goes to chaos. Still dealing with the grief of his fathers death and responsibility of having to become king with the fear of the killer still beingin the castle of it being someone he trusts, he runs away during the night. He hops on a hay wagon and arrives into a village where he can hide by cutting his long hair short and growing a stubble to stay unrecognized and live a normal life.
Katherine beginning: Katherine's mother dies in childbirth and she is raised by her father until he is killed in a hunting accident. So using the hunting skills her father taught her she survives until she becomes of age to get a job. She becomes a bounty hunter and uses her extraordinary hunting skills to her advantage and makes money while following her dream of traveling and seeing the world.
Meeting: Advisors hire 20 year old Katherine thorne to find the prince as a private job to avoid chaos in the kingdom. She goes to the village inn before she leaves for her mission where she meets nick (Nickolas undercover) and she offers to bring him along on her mission giving him minimal details. Saying she has to find a important person for a high ranking family so nick agrees to come along not knowing she is looking for him and her not knowing he is her bounty.
