The why.
Hi. Welcome to Just Another Monday in Special Ed.
I’m here because I have a job that I love and no place to document the stories (some good, some not so good) that come out of my experiences every day. I always swear I’m going to write a book about my experiences when I’m old, but if I wait until I’m old to document it, I won’t remember. So here I am.
A bit about me: I teacher K-5 Resource Room and I take the overflow from the self contained room. My caseload is full at 25 students and I’m sitting near 40. No, there is no bonus for the extra kiddos. I won’t be getting rich this year. I’m a single mom to two elementary age kiddos of my own, so I’m getting the adventure from all sides. I try to have my shit together, but like most people, I’m just a good juggler.
