I loved that book!
I feel that too few people read the book. It is such a great story and I try to recommend it whenever I can (and the German cover is beautiful, too).

Jam and jelly!
There are not enough strawberries for jam but early this summer, I went to a friend’s grandparent’s alotment. They have about 7 old, well-established red currant plants. We had two huge plastic containers and it did not look like all that much (they were not even full). However, when I got home I realised that we had picked over 6 kg (12 pounds) of red currants. Then I got sick so my freezer was bursting with frozen currants. I started making jelly and jam but there are still some currants (I guess about 1.5 kg) left.

Me too. I have been honest about what I felt but still feel a bit bad. I am often off step from others. Maybe all us off step people need to speak up more.
Thank you, it is always good to know that I am not the only one who (seems to) deviate from the majority :-)

Hi there! My personal take on this is: don't worry about it. I also have unpopular opinions on books most of the time, so I get what it means to be at odds with the rest of the people, but nothing's going to happen! Just be honest, it's the best
Thank you for your feedback. I still post my honest opinion but I have to force myself not to let other people’s opinion influence me, if I seem to be the only one not liking something. Interestingly enough, it is only a real problem if I did not like something. On the other hand, if I loved a book everyone else disliked, I have no problem in defending my precious :-)

Unbelievable! My Front Row Seat to the Craziest Campaign in American History by Katie Tur.
oh man, I don’t think I’d have the stomach to read this!

Have you read The Goldbug? It's a little different than his other stories, plus the setting is near where I live. Also The Murders of the Run Mourge.
I don’t know if @baldursgatekeeper sees the reply or not. I’m forwarding it just in case.

Thank you for tagging me! I did this round some time ago about This savage song by V.E. Schwab. I’d do it again but I have no new books

Thats my granddaughter’s name, she’s only 2 but I’m getting this book!
Seraphina is a beautiful name! I am sure, there aren’t that many book characters who share a name with your granddaughter and I am sure she will appreciate reading this book. And the book is really good.
