I was tagged by @lizziethereader, thanks, let’s revive booklr together! :D
Which book are you reading right now?
“Lady Windermere’s fan” by Oscar Wilde. It’s really taking me a while, because I only read in when I’m at uni, it lives permanently in my bag.
What’s the best beverage when reading?
Tea! Tea is good for every occasion
What’s your favourite book quote?
Tough question. There is one by Jenny Han that has stuck with me: “People come in and out of your life. For a time they are your world; they are everything. And then one day they’re not. There’s no telling how long you will have them near.”
Are you looking forward to a certain book release? If yes, which one?
Yes, quite a few! The two that come to my mind are “The Ship of Dead” by Rick Riordan and “Always and Forever, Lara Jean” by Jenny Han
What’s your Hogwarts house?
If you could get on a plane right now, where would you go? (And yes, fictional places are good as well. You could also travel via wardrobe/ train/ etc.)
I’d go to London, just for the sake of it. And to Idris, if we’re talking fictional places.
What’s your favourite holiday read?
I’m not sure I have one. But I reread “My True Love Gave to Me” this Christmas, so I guess that counts?
Spell your name using book titles!
A Walk in the Park by Jill Mansell
London Belongs to Me by Jacquelyn Middleton
In Order to Live by Yeonmi Park
Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare
Ed Sheeran: A Visual Journey by Ed Sheeran and Philip Butah
Would you like Booklr to do something for Christmas/ New year?
Oh yeah, definitely! Next year I mean.
Are there any books you want to recommend to the rest of us? :)
“The Muse” by Jessie Burton. It’s the last book I’ve read in 2016, so good!
What is your favorite nonfiction subject to read?
I don’t think I have a particular subject. I like reading about women in history, especially since they weren’t usually talked about at the time.
What types of book covers do you find most aesthetically pleasing?
I love the ones that have a pattern all over the cover. Google “Świat książki angielski ogród” and you’ll see what I mean.
If you had to choose one bookworld to live in, which one would it be?
Either Shadowhunters or the Harry Potter world.
What is your favorite reread?
I reread books so often I can’t pick a favourite. All the ones I liked the most I think.
Which books are you planning to read next?
I’m going to start rereading “Księżniczka” (Princess) by Andrzej Pilipiuk after I finish this tag. It’s the second book in the “Cousins” trilogy. I think it’ll be my fourth time rereading it?
Questions added by sparkylovesbooks
What was the last book you rated 5 stars?
“King Lear” by William Shakespeare
What book character do you identify the most with?
I don’t really? I mean I could say Alex Sinclair from “London Belongs to Me” since she has a panic attack disorder, but that’s all.
Does your family read a lot?
My mum does. She’s read “Gone With the Wind” in like 3 or 4 days? I’m still amazed by it!
